great mental stimulation!
This was a great addition for our dog! It provides great mental stimulation for him alongside his daily weeks. It is incredibly easy to use and easy to throw in the washing machine.

Wash and dry before using!
These snuffle mats are amazing. I use these in place of regular food dishes for my husky since she gets bored easily and this engages her for a while and slows down her eating. She will also return to the bowls later to snuffle around more and dig out some missed kibble. I just sprinkle the kibble randomly around the bowl and sometimes tuck a few more into more corners, but I don’t spend much time hiding them, I just let the random sprinkling do most of the work so it’s low effort to use twice a day. Despite being a very eager chewer, my dog does not try to chew on the felt, and naturally uses the bowl as intended.I bought two of these so I have one to use while the other is in the wash, and I just wash them every week or two. You might need to wash more if a dog is really drooling a lot, but they don’t really seem to collect much dirt. They’re still in great shape after multiple washes so far, which I wasn’t expecting. Definitely more durable than they seem. I do strongly recommend to wash and toss in the dryer before first use, because otherwise the felt strips won’t fluff up correctly and they’ll end up staying flattened down even after future washes. I use the normal default washer/dryer cycles because I’m lazy, and it’s been great, no damage caused.This bowl might look kind of flat on one side when you first unpackage it, but after a dryer cycle you can adjust the edge a little better to make it stand up properly. So don’t be alarmed if the bowl is sort of taco-ing in on itself initially. The dryer fixed that for me and then it worked really well.

Well made product to keep puppy’s mind active
Great way for my puppy to keep his mind active! He is a German Shepherd so he constantly needs to be doing something. I suggest making sure you put it away when done finding all the snacks because my puppy started tearing on the puzzle itself. It is very sturdy, and well made.

Good concept but my dog just picks it up and shakes all the food out. Doesn’t keep him busy at all.

This is an incredible tool/toy to keep your dog entertained for an extended period of time. So far, it has been durable and not show any signs of wear. An add d bonus is it’s less expensive than a dog toy.
