UPDATE, WHILE submitting my initial review, i was was sitting by the trashcan to take additional pictures of the lack of groves to actually tighten the lid, you can’t rotate it and lock that in place, it just slips on and so the whole thing came tumbling down on me and luckily no trash was inside. Not seconds later, my 3 pound yorkie literally pushed it over and wouldn’t you know it, the lid just slipped off like cracking an egg open. How exactly is this supposed to “secure dog poop and contain odors” as advertised?? Sorry but i had to deduct stars for that, I mean if you’re advertising it as a trashcan ” to secure dog poop and odors” it should do just that and can someone please explain to me how that is suppose to happen when there is no way to secure the lid? and the legs fall off every time it tumbles over? Maybe I got a defective model. Heartbroken. Yes, I can send it back but driving down to the drop of center and then back is about 2 hours of my time I value far too much.”Yatmung Dog Poop Trash Can” is what I purchased but the label on it says “Feidash”. So if you search for the feidash trash can, a quick search shows multiple ones on the one that sounds like “tee moo” (lol) for under $10 so I will give you a rundown of my observation for this one on Amazon for $40 before tax. The legs are made of plastic, it arrived scratched in several areas, and I don’t think it was due to shipping because even the inside was scratched. It’s cute, light weight plastic. The artificial greenery is held together by a zip tie and yes just one. I wish it was a bit darker green but i guess the lighter shade of greenery will have to do. In the picture it shows it a little longer and fluffier, if that makes sense and it is just a little flat and smaller but maybe once it settles in it will become fluffier. I don’t think that for this price it’s worth the going rate on Amazon because it is very flimsy but it’s very very cute. I believe the price point is more accurate on the previously mentioned searches. I hope it holds up. It’s adorable and let’s say “delicate” rather than “flimsy” and I’m going to use it as a trash can to see if my dog stops getting into the trash can in the bathroom instead of a dog poop trash can as advertised. Because I’m not quite sure if it would really contain the smell as advertised. The locking mechanism is also plastic and seems very easy to open if dumped over. I like the look of “wood” on legs and lid but i think it may be a sticker of wood finish but i like it anyways. It’s hard to shop online sometimes because you expect a more robust heartier item at this price point but I have bought several items over the years on Amazon from different sellers using the exact same pictures of an item and the quality is tremendously gapped, items look the same but the quality differences will shock you. It’s like a crapshoot.but i still love good Ole Amazon and I like this little trashcan and I will update on functionality and ease of use and cleaning if anything changes. Video was fun to upload. Functional and convenient
I really do LOVE this! We have a small dachshund and we live in an apartment with a grass area right outside our front door so I don’t want to always walk to the trash to throw away her business away. My Husband and I like convenience lol. This product was easy to figure out and is super cute! It’s not super sturdy but don’t be too rough with it and you’re fine. The other reviews about the lid I see what they mean but honestly we just don’t click it down all the way and just grab the plant thing to open the lid and the just let it fall once we put the bag in and it’s fine. *Just make sure when you throw the bags away in there #1 have a good trash bag liner in there and #2 tie off your dogs poop bag and you’ll be happy.
