Boredom Buster multicast toy
My cats absolutely love this toy! They can’t get enough. I love the rechargeable aspect so no need for batteries. My cats all have time to play with it as it has a 15min run time and three speeds. It has a feather teaser that adapts to their ata ka and a big butter fly that spend with the teaser allowing two cats to play at once.

Best Cat Toy Ever!!!
I must say that I’m shocked to see any bad reviews on here. Both my cats love this toy! The first one I got years ago. I just got a second one recently and it’s just as amazing! Yes they tear off the feathers but that can be expected with cats. It’s nice they have replacement arms so you don’t have to buy a whole new set every time they tear off the feathers. This is both my cats favorite toy and they can play it for hours! The fact that it’s rechargeable makes it all the better cuz I used to go through batteries like crazy. I recommend this to all my friends who own cats.

Not motion activated but good charge
I got this due to it saying it was motion activated… it is not. It will simply go for 15 minutes, turn off, and then turn on again in 3 hours whether something walks by it or not. However, I am thoroughly pleased with the battery life, I can leave it on for days and it will continue to work, so for that I’ll bump it back to 4 stars.

Fantastic!
Our cat LOVES this toy. I got it on sale and figured it might be fun, but didn’t expect much. Misty begs for it to be turned on daily. It lasts a few days before the charge dies, which is nice because she hates it when we take it away to charge. Also, if she is anywhere in the house and someone nudges the bell, she comes running. CONS: #1 she broke the skirt within a few days. By broke, I mean she chewed the fabric so the metal that holds the skirt down poked out. I removed it, and the skirt still works, sort of. It doesn’t stay down and gets snagged by the arm. She winds up pulling it off during her play (which is why it’s off in the video). #2 The motor is cheap. As you can hear in the video, it grinds when she’s pounced. I get it, it’s trying to move and she’s blocking it, but isn’t that the point of the toy? #3 It is not motion activated, it’s on some sort of timer. No one will be in the room and suddenly it pops on. Took a bit to get used to, but it’s fine now.

Lasted a week, poor quality, save your $, buy a different model
I purchased this toy to replace a similar toy that my cats loved, since it looked about the same as my previous model, but this is an inferior poor quality product in so many ways. It lasted a week, and now the motor just clicks and the attachments barely click back and forth in place. There are higher quality models that don’t have all the problems this toy has: First, the base is too light and the cats knock it over after a minute of play, so you have to monitor it constantly to stand it back up. 2nd, the butterfly on top does not flap or spin fast enough to get their attention. It just turns slowly in an upright position. 3) the wire attachment has coils and tiny metal attachments that seem dangerous & easy for cats claws to get caught in it. it came with a piece of plastic wrapped around the metal attachment rings; not sure if its meant to be removed to dangle freely or spin better, but i left it on to protect their claws (even though half the metal chain links are still exposed). Other models have the metal coil at the bottom, near the base of the motor so they wont get snagged on it, and the toys are attached with elastic or plastic, not a chain made up of tiny metal rings. 4) the toy turns off automatically when they are in the middle of playing with it, and the motion sensor does not restart the toy for an hour, so I have to constantly restart it. theres no point to the motion sensor that turns itself off for an hour at a time after 5 minutes running, not long enough at all 5) battery is weak and doesn’t hold a charge more than a couple days (even with the annoying automatic shut down mode) But for all these defects, by far the biggest issue is it only worked a week before the motor failed, so all it does is humm (loudly) and shake, so the attachments kind of twitch back & forth in the same place. Save your $, avoid a huge headache and dissapointing your cat. Find a better model that doesn’t have all the issues ennumerated above! They have way better models without all these issues, and I will be buying the same model i had before to replace this poor substitute.

Great, but doesn’t last long 🙁
I have tried many products like this one and this is by far the best. I love that it’s rechargeable. And my cat goes nuts for it. However, it doesn’t last. My cat catches it and sometimes holds it down because…he’s a cat. The thing still struggles to move, obviously. But when he let go, all was fine – at first. However, after a few weeks I noticed that the motor was malfunctioning. Like, it stopped moving in certain directions and made a weird sound. I contacted the seller and they sent me a new one, which I appreciated.Unfortunately, the same thing happened within ONE week. I don’t know if I’ve gotten two duds in a row? My cat isn’t typically destructive so I can’t imagine he’d be rough enough with it to actually break it. And besides, the toy is designed for cats. It looks completely fine on the outside and I can’t see anything wrong with it. It isn’t damaged in a visible way. It just doesn’t work. So I’m definitely bummed. It was good while it lasted though.

Cats absolutely love this! Great for high energy cats!Battery lasts long! Has 3 speed levels! The only downside I would say is that my cats were able to rip out the feather that goes around however it is a super easy fix with a glue gun!

This is one of the better motion-activated toys I’ve tried. It charges quickly, holds up well under heavy use (currently being thoroughly tested by two very energetic Bengals), and the mat’s taken a proper battering without giving in.The stand-up wand is a nice touch – catches their attention easily – and the interchangeable feathers are a big hit. That said, the feathers may not survive long if your cats like to chew and tug, so you’ll probably need spares.I really like that it’s rechargeable – much better than endlessly replacing batteries. It also has adjustable speeds, which is useful for mixing it up a bit.Only real gripe is that it doesn’t turn off on its own quickly when the cats lose interest, which means I end up getting up to switch it off. Minor annoyance, but worth mentioning.Overall, a solid, entertaining toy that holds their attention and seems to be built better than most.

My cat ADORES these toys… that feather spinning under the mat is as addictive as coffee is to me. In fact he adores it so much that we bought 3 others before this exact one. Yes, you read that right. He was so, so sad when it broke that we’d buy another. And I spent hours trying to fix them too but they all died. THIS ONE however is awesome and it’s taken a lickin’ and keeps on tickin’!!! He’ll attack it and then sit on it, proud of his success in hunting. You can hear the motor trying to keep going and I’m always on the edge of my seat waiting for it to give up and die. BUT IT DOESN’T! This toy has just kept going and going.I will say that the butterfly on top was not a favourite so I took the top off and removed it. I attached it to the end of a wand toy and he loves that so I’m still just as happy.Does it go off sometimes and make me jump… yes, and I’d much prefer if the timer was optional. However it doesn’t negate the hours of pure bliss my cat gets from this toy.If you’re on the fence… don’t be. THIS is the version to get, you won’t be disappointed.

Gave this to my lovely cats this morning and they are now OBSESSED with it.The toy runs for fifteen minutes then stops for three hours, so they don’t get over-stimulated. I wish there were a way to change these timings as my two girls are worn out by it within five or ten minutes, but have since returned to it and shouted at me until I switched it back on again.They just love it. Things did get a bit more heated than my video shows as Luna (the smaller, lighter one) decided to start running at it from a distance, and doing a full belly flop on top of it several times, which meant she could catch both of the dangly toys at once. She also grabbed the skirt and yanked it off the toy a couple of times, so it would be nice if this could be more firmly attached–but I’m sure I can sort that out with a bit of spare fabric and a few stitches.It is quite noisy, as the skirt is a nylon ripstop sort of fabric, and as the underneath toy rotates it makes a whooshing sound. If the skirt were a softer fabric this wouldn’t be an issue (and again, I bet I could very easily make a replacement skirt in a quieter fabric).So the downsides are the timings, and the skirt which is too noisy, and too easy to remove. But overall this is a fabulous toy, which my cats both are now obsessed with. I am so glad I bought it!

Out of 5 cats, two especially love this fun toy! I like that it turns itself off after a time, which gives them a break and they don’t get bored with it. When they hear it turn back on, it’s playtime again! My cats are all over 5 years old, not small kittens so, unfortunately, the feathers didn’t last more than a couple of weeks and they broke the arm. The butterfly wings on the top toy lasted a little longer and were also a hit. I had to be creative and reattach the arm with a bamboo stick and new feathers and bind this with electrical tape, which has worked well. Once charged it lasts for days, and is switched on all day, only being turned off late in the evening, which is excellent. They have had a lot of entertainment out of this toy so despite the spinning arm not being as sturdy as it should be, and the feathers being ripped out after a couple of weeks, my improvisation has given them a lot more enjoyment from it and I do recommend this product. It would, however, be great to see an improvement in the design to address this issue for future models, which I would buy again.
