An excellent choice for grooming
I love this rake. I bought it to use on my Golden retriever. I normally use a slicker brush and occasionally the Furminator. I struggle with the furminator because the hair goes everywhere, but with this brush, it seems to stay collected in the brush a bit better which keeps it from going everywhere. It’s easy to use, a good size, and works well. Highly recommend.

A must for a shedding dog like my lab!!
This is a great deshedding brush. I’ve purchased many and this is one of the better ones I’ve bought. I have a black lab that sheds so much it’s crazy. We used this on her and she looks 20 lbs lighter ! I posted a picture of how much hair came off in just one pass down her back. It removes so much loose hair it’s crazy. It’s made very well and is sturdy. Functions phenomenal! This is a great buy if you have a shedding dog!!

Works great on dreaded ear mats on my doodle girl
Bought this for my doodle girl who lives for water and therefore always getting tangles in her crazy hair. I love that it’s all metal and wood. No plastic bits and very well made. It works really well for getting under Matts/tangles and breaking them up so I can get them out. Especially behind her ears.

Weighted perfectly and easy to use
I have a long haired giant breed dog that I need to brush with an undercoat rake every week or it will be almost impossible to get through her thick undercoat. I have tried several different types of rakes and most are designed the same, one rake with thin teeth or a double sided rake with thin teeth on one side and further spacing on the teeth on the other side. What I like about this item is that it comes with the rake on one side and the de shedding tool on the other side so you can easily flip it which is important when you only have a few seconds before your dog tells you it is enough and doesn’t want to be brushed anymore. I like the wooden handle on this item more than the plastic handles, it feels more secure in my hands. I also like that it is weighted so it is easy to use without having to reposition my grip several times to fully brush her coat. The only negative is that the de shedding tool sticks out so it is difficult to store or keep in a pocket so I can brush my dog on a walk which gives her enough of a distraction by smelling things outside where I can brush her. Not a huge issue, but it would be great if the de shedding portion could collapse when not in use.

I have a Rottweiler who is currently shedding g her winter coat. I have another brush that i used before ordering this one and the amount of fur that was removed by this was astonishing! It works so well!! She looks (and feels) so much better!

Useful tool for managing tangles
I’ve used this comb a few times already. It handles mats and loose hair without pulling too much and seems comfortable for our dog. The two-sided design makes switching between detangling and general grooming pretty simple.
