This review pertains to not only the Liorce cat steps, but to the large and small shelves, all in walnut.This is one of those purchases I hesitated on because of the expense. I looked at dozens of alternatives. But in the end I couldn’t have mage a better choice. They’re well worth their cost.I purchased a large shelf, 2 small shelves and a set of steps in walnut. The pieces are gorgeously fabricated and finished and the support is nearly invisible yet reliably stable. I’m using one of the steps in another room as part of another climbing configuration. We couldn’t be more pleased and I’ll likely be buying additional pieces.The cushions are soft, supportive foam with attractive, high-quality fabric held firmly in place with very strong velcro. The removable covers are really well-made, feature hidden zippers and wash and dry (cool wash / low heat) perfectly.I installed into studs for safety because the drywall here is ancient and questionable 😂. Installation was easy as could be and I did it alone.If you’re looking for attractive cat shelves that will blend right in with your furniture, you couldn’t make a better choice!For context, the cats are 7 and 8 pounds.

My cat Luna absolutely loves these steps and the curved shelf—they’ve quickly become her favorite spots to nap and lounge. The craftsmanship and design are excellent and aesthetically pleasing.However, a word of caution about the included hardware: the anchors and screws that come with the set are low quality. When using a power screwdriver, the screws strip very easily, and if you need to uninstall and reinstall even once or twice, the stripped screws can get stuck and become very difficult to remove. I highly recommend using your own heavy-duty wall anchors and screws for a safer and more reliable installation. Once securely mounted, the shelves are fantastic. Highly recommended overall, just upgrade the hardware!

Good size and great quality
I used four of these steps to complete a cat wall with a larger “lounger.” The quality is very nice; The wood is beautiful, and the bent wood style is very attractive. Screws were provided for mounting either to sheet rock/plaster or to concrete/cinderblock. I mounted them on the cinderblock wall above the fire place, leading to clerestory windows, where they can walk or nap. Drilling the cinderblock took patience, but installation went smoothly otherwise: the steps are VERY sturdy on the wall.The cats were climbing within minutes of the wall’s completion — we’re all very pleased.

Lovely product, wish they were floating.
The small steps were perfect for my cat to get up on the other shelves from this company. My only reason for losing one star is the other two products are floating shelf style and the steps are not. Also the color fabric on top is different color than the other two products which is unfortunate because I wish it came in a set and be more cohesive looking. All in all still pretty solid but I do wish it was floating shelf style because the brackets are a little bit ugly.

Nice product
I really love these steps. Mostly because the pre drilled holes are vertical and not horizontal. This makes it so easy to get it completely in a stud rather tan having to use anchors.

Beautiful Steps – Need better hardware if anchoring in drywall
The steps came very well packaged, and the finish is smooth and even. We were able to screw two of the steps into a stud using the hardware provided. We didn’t like the silver screws on the wood finish, so we painted them black so they wouldn’t be so noticeable. Those steps were very study. We used the drywall anchors and screws for the remaining three steps, and again painted the screw heads (we also used small washers so the small screw head wouldn’t screw into the step itself. My cat is older and on the heavier side – maybe around 10 pounds. We put treats on the steps to see if she would hop up on them. First she tried to swipe the treats off with her paw, but later decided she would make the leap. Unfortunately, the second step (anchored in the drywall with provided hardware) didn’t hold. The anchors pulled out of the wall and the shelf came down. Upon inspecting why the anchors failed, we noticed that the anchors did not get much bigger after screwing in the screw. So we used a different kind of anchor to re-attach the shelves going into drywall. They seem to be much more sturdy. This is a good product, but would be even better if the screws were the color of the wood, and washers and better drywall anchors were provided..

I was looking for cozy and nice looking shelves, and these are amazing. It’s easy to install. I had to add more screws than which was given because it wasn’t sturdy enough in my opinion (maybe due to my wall), so just know you might have to add some more to make it more sturdy.
