Lifesaver for a food obsessed rescue but some challenges too
This snuffle mat is amazing for slowing down eating and creating good doggie vibes. Our rescue gobbled her food up in one gulp and this definitely slowed her down! It is made of some felt like cloth and despite her intense snuffling she hasn’t chewed on it or torn it up either. It is useful to load up with food and pull the string so you can travel with it too! The down sides are that it gets dirty quickly and it is difficult to wash, I still have not been able to remove much of the kibble residue deep in the snuffle and I do think you would need to wash it more regularly than I have. My dog loves it, it’s easy to use and keeps her busy for a few minutes. I suppose we could put other treats in it to keep her busy longer but again there is that cleaning issue. The size is great and adjustable. Overall I gave it 5 stars because it has great features and was just what we needed but the cleaning issue is really yucky too. Didn’t use the clicker.

Love this mat
Great for a puppy. Entertains him for a solid 30mins and I also use it as a feeder to slow down how fast he eats. My older dog has less patience and shredded his within 24 hours.

Has held up to chewer
This has held up really well to my velociraptor lab puppy. It works well to toss small treats into, but doesn’t keep him busy for very long. Overall pleased with product. Pup still interested after several months.

Simple but has a great feature: suction cup on bottom
There are lots of snuffle mats out there, all of which provide enrichment for your pup while slowing their feeding down. We chose this one because it has a suction cup on the bottom, as well as the non-skid nubs. No cheating! Our smart dogs would simply flip over or fling a small mat like this, defeating the purpose. This one has a single big suction cup on the bottom. So we stick it to the tile floor and no more flipping. It’s a good size, adjustable, and is machine washable. It is surprisingly durable, although our dogs are not particularly hard on their toys and feeders. We rotate between small snuffle feeders like this one, and the larger fold-out snuffle mat with a variety of different areas/challenges in one mat. The price has actually come down on this one since we purchased, so we’ll be getting another one.

This actually works fairly well, it’s a little stiff at the begining, but time will make it easier to hide the food. Can be big or smaller, which is perfect for my size of dog. Holds A lot of kibble. BUT, the suction cup on the bottom doesn’t stick to the floor so my puppy is able to move it around, flip it over and his favourite, chew on the plastic suction cup!!! So it’s kinda useless to me until I figure out how to make it unmoveable!!

We have a German Shepherd puppy and they need lots of stimulation. Bought as a new way to receive treats. Use a teeny dog biscuits , the size of goldfish crackers, to hide in the folds! Have used a couple times and he enjoys the hunt. Has held up so far! Can pull string and close to put away for next time. Glad to have choices to offer him
