great little training pouch
These are small, but hold enough treats for a training session with your dog. they can clip onto belt hoop. the pouch has a waxy exterior on it , which helps keep treats fresh. easy open when training.

This review is for the two-piece dog treat pouches.The material on these dog pouches feels kind of like waxed canvas, but maybe not actual canvas, I’m not sure. The quality is decent. There’s a carabiner clip on the back of the pouch, and I suspect that the carabiner will need to be replaced at some point because usually the thin aluminum ones don’t last very long. But I’m okay with replacing thisenif they give out.The pouches have good sized openings that these bags are designed to stay closed until you apply pressure to pop them open. I can easily open with one hand by squeezing the buckle sides which pops open the edges. This creates a decent wide opening that I can fit my whole hand into. If your hands are large, like my husband’s, you’re probably only going to be able to fit three fingers and a thumb partially in to grab treats but it’s still functions as it should. I can have one of these clipped to my leash (or to my waist if I have pants with a loop on them or a belt that I can hook it to) My dog can smell the treats through the material which I kind of find as an incentive for her because she knows I have treats with us on our walk. As for the bag’s storage capacity, I can fit a generous half cup of treats in the pouch. I have not attempted washing these because of the wax coating.

Excellent…automatically closes
These are super nice and are almost exactly what I expected.They’re a sort of pebble-textured canvaslike fabric. The caribiner is removable from the pouch, and the pouch is easy to open. The only thing that is unexpected is that the pouch won’t stay open; it automatically closes. Not a big deal for my purposes.I’m using these for the typical reason, to hold reinforcement training treats for my dog. My previous pouch was much larger — large enough to hold a large Kong toy. This will hold about a cup of treats. I don’t think there will be any issues with washing these either the caribiner off.My other pouch needed to be used with a belt, which was inconvenient because I typically don’t wear a belt. This clips onto my belt loop securely, and is default closed, vs my other wide open pouch. My youngest dog is very food motivated and high drive. He’s also very sensitive, and it was always a pain to verbally correct him when he tried to reward himself without hurting his feelings. He’s a collie and just wants to please me…and him. He’s heartbroken when he can’t do both.Lastly, I like that there are two pouches. I haven’t tried yet, but like the option of being able to easily treat from either side.
