Worth The Purchase!
Easy to put together, the length of the handle works perfect for me I’m 5’3. It collects plenty of hair without you breaking your arm by using so much pressure. Its sturdy once put together and makes cleaning carpets so much easier. Definitely recommend the use of this brush if you have dogs or cats that shed a ton!

Exceptional Product
This was delivered today, which was earlier than first projected. This item was well packaged. All the pieces were in a plastic bag with a zipper closure, so the parts were kept contained, and not rolling around in the box. There were instructions in the box, which were clear and easy to follow. Included in the box was a thank you for the order, and another card, to contact the company, should there be any problems. I found both of these to be a nice touch, and indicates a company that is willing to keep customers happy, with their products. The fact that the rake was packaged well told me that this company takes pride in what they make, and exercises care in how it is packaged, and has put much thought into this. Thank you.There is one slight thing that I would note, which is not enough to delete a star. I am 5’7″ tall, and for me, the handle could be a few inches longer. At the same time, I realize that a longer handle would also put more stress on the connecting joints.Upon putting the rack together, I immediately tested this out on my carpet. This rake did a superb job. Where the carpet pile has been matted down from walking on the carpet, this was brought back to life, and looks spectacular. The rake did a great job of pulling up and out cat hair. I vacuum regularly, with a commercial vacuum, and it is obvious that my vacuum has not been getting out all of the cat hair. One the plus side, this rake doesn’t terrorize my cat like the vacuum does.I only wish that I had this rake before I cleaned my carpets last year, as I was constantly gathering up clumps of cat hair, that the carpet cleaner was pulling up, and I had vacuumed prior to using the carpet cleaner. However, this year I will vacuum, then rake the carpet, before using the carpet cleaner, and this should make cleaning my carpet a faster job.A nice touch as well, is the company includes two clear adhesive discs for hanging the rake out of the way, when not in use.

Great rake, but handle not built to last
We are a long pet hair family (we have a golden retriever and cats), as well as women with long hair. We vaccuum at least every 2-3 days, so figured things were fine(ish). Not so!The good-Bought this rake to try it out, and raked up more than a softball’s worth of hair from our carpet. So, it works well, also small enough to fit along the walls and into corners to get everywhere.The bad-Don’t know how long this handle will last. It screws together (in 3 pieces, as it comes shipped) tightly, but you’re putting pressure on it while raking it through the carpet, and it will probably fail first.Also, the handle itself is not that long. I’m only 5’3″, and I was having to bend over to really rake/put pressure while I’m pulling.Overall, we’d buy again as long as it doesn’t break in the first few weeks.

This is amazing! I have a long haired dog and plush carpeting. The hair would get caught in the rollers of my vacuum and I would have to cut the hair that was wrapped around the rollers. The volume of dog hair that my dog sheds on the carpet was a huge problem! In 15 minutes I can now do my large bedroom and remove the dog hair. I can then vacuum the carpet with ease to pick up the dirt and dust. The reviews of many of the carpet rakes said that the pole was not sturdy. I saw a good review for this rake and I was impressed. It is extremely sturdy and works well. It even came with 2 strong wall hanging hooks! This carpet rake saves my back and is wonderful! I used it on my stairs holding the handle at the height needed and also used it on my large bedroom thick pile carpeting. I used to go on my hands and knees with a brush! No more! It is so fast and easy. My dog has a large carpet remnant that he lies on in the kitchen. That was cleaned in 2 minutes. I highly recommend this product from this seller. It was a reasonable price and it works great and is extremely sturdy!

Great carpet rake!
I LOVE this carpet rake! It took all but 1 minute to assemble and in 5 minutes, took out enough dog hair from my carpet to build another medium sized dog.My room no longer smells like dog and for the first time, my allergy-ridden dog-loving husband was able to breathe & get a good night sleep.The handle needed tightened a few times, but it could have loosened due to my over zealous raking.I am now in the process of buying a new vacuum as apparently mine never truly picked up the dog hair.

Requires effort
I had high hopes for this. We have two long hair cats and struggle with our Dyson to collect their shedding. This tells you something. Sigh.This item does the job but requires significant effort. We have dense, low pile wool area rugs and must really use pressure to adequately pick up the cat hair. Recently we tried a shop vac on dry mode and that sucker worked a miracle. For anything but an urgent touch up, the shop vac will be my go to.

I previously had a smaller version of this tool, but upgrading to the long-handle, broom-style rake has made a huge difference. I have two Labradors who leave hair everywhere, and this pulls it all up with ease.
