I have an 11-year-old cat who has become bored since I transitioned her from outdoor to indoor. She turned up her nose at several toys before I bought this tent.Since she spends a lot of time in my room and on my bed, I put the tent on my bed and she claimed the new little house as hers within minutes. I put a towel on the bottom to make it cozy and she now spends most of her day playing, sleeping, or just hanging out in the tent.It is very light, and she tipped it backward a few times, but for the most part, it stays upright, even when she is in her hyperactive mood.The sides offer enough coverage to keep her cozy, while the three openings allow her to see everything that’s going on.Excellent buy for the price.

I bought this Cat Tent to replace a smaller, very worn one (lots of duct tape on it) that several of my cats have played in over the years. This one is definitely colorful, and needed no assembly; it literally popped open the second I took the elastic off, so use caution when you unwrap it! I tried to fold it back up, but couldn’t figure it out–that’s not a problem for me, but if you need to pack or store it, that process could be frustrating.It took my cats a full day before they would get into it, but once they did, they often get in a swatting match over who can sit in it, so it’s definitely a hit with both of them. My big boy cat (16 lbs.) fits inside, so it’s roomy; if your cats are cuddlers, they’ll enjoy the extra space. It’s very lightweight, and the “floor” of the tent is thin, so I put a towel in the bottom for more comfort. The frame and the reinforced seams appear to be durable, so I believe that it’s a good buy for the money.

The cure for cat boredom. Pair with other toys
My 2 youngest cats love this! I throw in an interactive ball or something that moves on its own and point the fan at it and they play for a long time. You can finagle other tunnels you own to line up and make it a fun chase game. My baby likes to hide thing in the tunnels and run through doing 30 mph! The wind moves this thing around and makes it “wave”. It has so many ways we can cure the kids boredom.

I purchased the triangular-shaped cat tent, and my cat loves it. The three large openings provide easy entry/exit. My cat is not particularly active by nature; however, she has managed to incorporate this tent into her playtime activities. She uses the tent as a hiding place from which she can pounce on her wand toys. The tent is now her preferred location to eat her post-play treats. Since the tent is so reasonably priced, I ordered a second. I have had square popup cat tents previously that were not particularly appealing to my cat. I truly do not know why this triangular shape is so much more attractive to her. It could be the sloping sides and the large, square base. I fully understand this product is not intended to be especially durable. I do hope you continue to sell this item so that I can order replacements when needed.
