Our chihuahua loves it.
Bought this for our 12 pound chihuahua. Very well made. Very plush. The pillow is also well made and plush, soft, billowie, comfy. The whole bed is two completely separate pieces. The shelter. The pillow. Plenty of height for our chihuahua so it’s easy for him to enter and exit. He’s curled up in it now, sunk down in the soft lushness of the pillow. Totally content. Probably dreaming of something nice. I think a dog up to 15 pounds would find it plenty comfortable.My thinking was it might take a few days for our dog to be comfortable with this new object in his resting area. Nope. It delivered yesterday. We placed it near his favorite sleeping spot and he climbed right in. He was like, “Thanks. I was hoping you’d get me a bed like this for coming cooler weather.”One more thing. The color, to me, doesn’t show well in the picture. Doesn’t do the color justice. The color is medium-dark-sage-green and cream, almost white. Looks great. Blends well in the room. Very inviting. A small, warm cave our chihuahua now calls home.

My large boy loves this bed. He weighs #23 he’s a really big cat and he fits well and is totally comfortable. I put it away in the summertime but it’s his winter go-to. Awesome bed and washes up beautifully.

It’s a KEEPER!………….now a 4 years later update!
Just arrived today and much better than described……my Jack Russel sized mix dog loves it. The size, quality, softness & color are perfect for Zoe & me! Probably will have to order another one for my small dachsund just to maintain the peace if he likes it like Zoey does!It’s 4 years since these orders and I am just as impressed as then……and still using them! They are so perfect for short haired dogs: When mine are comfortable they just mash the bungalo down and sleep on top. When they feel “drafty” they will “root” the bungalo back up and crawl in ……on their own! They really love the control. BTW, I highly suggest buying a spare so as to swap/alternate the bed to allow for ample drying time and minimal routine disruption. These are very well made and therefore are not easily dried in a short time. Love this product!PS: I had to order another one for my Harley.boy!PS;PS: This one is for Banjo our newest rescue!

Best cat bed I have found- by far!
I have two rescues, one that uses a bed and one that does not. The cat cave that I had gave off a bad foam chemical odor so I wanted a replacement. I tried a couple, including the popular wool cave, and they ended up at the shelter because my cat would not use them.This bed is lovely, holds it shape, has a soft well made cushiony pillow and is attractive. When I opened it the cat that does not like beds climbed in and took over. I have now purchased a second one and my other cat loves it.I love that they are so well made and will hold up well.

It is the perfect size for a 12 pd dog. It is well made and cushioned nicely on the bottom and will keep your pet warm. It is air sealed packaging. However the top front dents down a little because the opening is not structured. My dog just pawes it down and laid ontop.

–+Update Dec 2015 +–This product is soft, warm, and washable. My cat is just being picky; sometimes she’ll sleep in it, sometimes she finds a spot on the sofa or lays on the floor in front of the heater. No fault by part of Armarkat.Washing it has lessened her interest in cuddling up inside of it, I’m imagining it will take some time before she’s satisfied with how much it smells like her.—–First off, I bought this to provide a soft & safe place for my cat to curl up in at night so she doesn’t get to claim my bed as hers or when I had guests over (she hides to observe from afar at first).The size is great, accommodating the 9 pound fuzzbutt with plenty of room to spare. It is sturdy yet soft from the padding on the sides but will collapse if the cat tries to climb or sit on top of it. There is a circular pillow on the inside that can be removed for washing, and the bottom has those anti skid bumps that are found on socks.How well is it received in my home is another story.When it first arrived, she was fascinated by the box it came in and was wary of the big puffy looking thing as I took it out. I put it at the foot of my bed where she typically sleeps and with time she had been comfortable going in & out of it.After a while I put it on the floor beside my bed and she decided to alternate between the cat bed, my bed, & her cat tree. Moving it next to her cat tree, she barely spends time in it nowadays – I’m hoping because it’s too warm to be sleeping in it this summer.I’ve resorted to shutting her out of my bedroom & letting her fend for herself because I am tired of her 3AM sprints and her dragging chewed up toys into my room for me to step on in the mornings.

Within 5 minutes of us opening the box and shaking out the bed, our cat was in it and purring at top volume! He’s a lean and solid 15 pounds, and he curls up in it easily! The 75 pound dog, with 2 fantastic dog beds of his own (see the link), keeps sticking his head in next to the cat.The bed seems well made. The seams are strong, and the materials feel thick and luxurious. The bed is a mix of a lambs wool style material and an ultra-suede style material. The cubby is soft and squishy, and it comes with an even more thick and squishy insert. The colors are cream and a dusty sage green. Lovely bed but my cat doesn’t use it! I’ve put treats inside to tempt him, he retrieves the treats and comes back out. The bed is very well made and looks lovely and comfortable.
