That being said, this review is NOT swayed by that, and (as always) contains only my real thoughts on the product; good and bad.‘]I requested the ‘Barkin & Meowson Nourishing Shampoo For Cats 350ml / 11.83 fl.oz – Oat Extract for Sensitive Skin, Pet-Friendly Scent‘.I used this on my elderly cat who is needing a little assistance with his personal hygiene lately. This shampoo smells pleasant and my cat was completely happy with the fact that it rinses off quickly. It worked well and he smelled fresh and clean after his bath. His skin is dryer than it was when he was in his prime and this shampoo was very gentle on his skin, his fur looked and felt great afterwards. For the price of £15.95, at the time of this review, it is on the expensive side, but a little goes a long way and he deserves a bit of pampering! 5 stars.

It lathers well without being harsh and rinses out easily.PositivesThe oat extract makes it gentle on the skin and there was no irritation after washing. The scent is very mild and pet friendly, which is ideal for cats. Fur feels noticeably softer and cleaner once dry.NegativesThe bottle is slightly small for the price if used frequently, especially for long haired cats.Overall impressionA good quality, gentle shampoo that does exactly what it should for sensitive cats. This cat shampoo cleans very effectively and has caused no irritation to my cat’s sensitive skin.She is over weight and so having problems grooming herself,she didn’t mind this shampoo at all and happily let me massage it into her skin.The smell is very pleasant and it rinses out easily with no residue.It has left the fur clean and smelling fresher.The bottle is easy to use and didn’t leak at all even when knocked over.At £15.95 this is expensive but I found that I only needed a small amount and it will last me ages as my cat is short haired and only washed on occasions,an effective shampoo.

This cat shampoo has a mild woody scent, and at first, my cat was a bit hesitant and resisted when I tried to put it on her. Eventually, she got used to it and let me wash her fur without fuss. The shampoo is easy to lather and rinse, which makes bath time much easier. After a week of use, I haven’t noticed any irritation or coat problems. The 350ml bottle is packed with oat extract and vitamin B5, which is ideal for sensitive skin. I also noticed that my cat’s fur feels smooth and shiny after drying. I plan to keep using this shampoo because it gives noticeable results and my cat is comfortable with it.

Since you are not supposed to wash cats too often if they are shorthair, it took me some time to find the right conditions to test this, however when i needed it, i was very happy i’ve got this shampoo from Barkin & Mewson.This is very buttery and gentle on sensitive skin, it left my kitty girl coat soft and shiny without residue.The scent is not too intense or artificial, it feels light and pleasant and rinsing is quick which is a big plus when your cat isn’t thrilled about bath time.To provide some feedback on quality, i’d say that the bottle feels a bit flimsy and the cap could be sturdier.I would definitely go for a shampoo without fragrance at all but it did not bothered us too much.My conclusion: This is a trustworthy shampoo that works well for shorthair cats.
