Great for senior dog
Great high protein foodBlue Buffalo is always high quality for a good price. Yes it costs more but it is worth itDog likes the smell and taste. It did cause diarrhea the first time he ate it but chalked it up to new foid.

Good food but best is freezed dried
Good food and my dog loves it. Freeze dried is better but I cannont afford it. I sprinkle a little Badlands Freeze Dried as it has nutrients no other dog food has.

Worth the extra cost. After just a couple of weeks on this brand, my dog showed a noticeable difference—more energy, more playful, and overall acting more like his younger self again. My little boy does great on this food!
My 10 yr old dog was having diarrhea and feeling kinda sluggish for a few months and I tried everything, but nothing seemed to help. I took him to the vet a couple times and they didn’t have any suggestions of what could be causing it. He’d been on the same food for a year or so so I changed his food. None of the other three expensive brands I tried helped until I tried this one. Now, he’s my grown daughter’s dog (for personal reasons). He moved in with her about two weeks ago and she was shocked to learn he’ll be 11 in a couple weeks! He’s running around just like he did when he was a puppy! He’s always played with his toys and was down for a short walk or road trip but since I switched him to this food four months ago, he wants to RUN! He’s feeling good and it shows! He looks AMAZING so when my daughter took him to a Christmas party last month, the people there had no trouble believing he was seven years old! I don’t know why my daughter thought he was only seven but she nearly cried when I told her he’s almost eleven. She had seen a recent Facebook Memory post and realized he couldn’t be seven.She’s so in love with him (always has been), now she’s afraid he’s gonna die sooner than she expected. I don’t think so! When she agreed to take him, I told her I’d pay for his food and vet visits (and pet insurance I’ve had for the last 4 1/2 years) for the first year. I’m still buying his food (it’s only been a few weeks now since he moved out), and he still has his dry food at night, but I’m sold on this! It’s not cheap but it’s paid for itself already saving me more vet bills trying to figure out what was causing the diarrhea! (Don’t worry, she’s a college grad and has a good job so she can afford it when she takes over. I said I’d pay it another year bc she just bought a house!)

12 yr old, toothless Chihuahua loves this!
This is the ONLY wet food my 12 year old, toothless Chihuahua will eat. All in all, it’s not much more expensive than my previous brand and better for the dogs. I switched my other dogs over to this food too, and they all love it as well. When it is stated “ground” it really is. No surprise chunks she can’t smash with her gums and spits out. Many “ground” formulas have those chunks and I have to smash them flat or throw them away. I’ll keep buying from now on.

Our senior dog seems to like it a lot and does very well with it. It’s easily digested and gives him the proper nutrients and minerals required for his age….Highly recommendable.

In theory, my dog should love this product because, it does contain “organ meat” which is good for dogs. However, my dog refuses to eat it. But after spending 50$ on the product, I made him eat it. Thank goodness he only has one can left. As Amazon said it would take up to 2 months to get the food he does love in stock, I bought it somewhere else. My dog gobbled the other up in minutes. Blue Buffalo he takes over a day to eat and has bad gas afterwards. Your dog may love it. As for my dog, I am never buying Blue Buffalo again. In addition, his regular food, I bought cheaper somewhere else, so I probably wont be buying that from Amazon ever again either.

My dog is 14 years old and since we have been feeding him Blue Buffalo, his joints have improved and his overall health has improved, he’s like a young dog again. I would so recommend this to anyone with a senior dog, as it will change their lives, as it did my dog
