Bug Bite Thing was founded in 2017 by Kelley Higney and her mother Ellen McAlister, a seasoned entrepreneur. Kelley’s daughters, like her, were both “mosquito magnets.” After many failed attempts to find relief by using creams and trying home remedies, Kelley decided to research how other countries combat insect bites. She discovered an innovative product that used suction to remove the insect saliva/venom and eliminate the itching, stinging, and swelling, instead of masking the symptoms. Amazed by the effectiveness of the product, Kelley knew she had to make it readily available and offer other families relief. In October 2019, Kelley and Ellen appeared on ABC’s hit show, “Shark Tank” and pitched to the Sharks to invest in their business. After receiving offers from all the Sharks, they decided to strike a deal with Lori Greiner. These work great. I’ve bought them for my daughter’s friends too.I had a bite, and I was shocked how much venom was removed. It never became inflamed or itchy as it normally would have. It’s important to use it as soon as possible after the bite.It’s important to read and follow the directions. My daughter said they don’t work. But then I showed her the correct way to use and she was pleasantly surprised. I recommend these for anyone that wants relief from bug bites without needing skin ointments. 👍🏻

Good pair of precision tweezers. I found the wedge end to not be very useful as most the ticks I was removing are far too small for it.

They work as advertised on ticks. Used a couple times with no complaints.Actually just got use out of these in the middle of winter when I got a huge splinter in my hand and these were all I had in my truck.

I don’t know. I really don’t notice a difference in my mosquito bites after I use this product. Not sure if it really works, but it’s easy to use.

If you are on the fence about getting this? Dont be.
This review will mention a disability/service dog.I have a service dog and part of being a responsible handler is to carry an emergency medical kit for your pup everywhere you go. It can get quite bulky if you don’t find ways to cut down on items in your pack, and being that I am wheelchair bound and having to carry my own medical equipment, I need her pack to be small.This “all in one” type of tool usually is a bust. Not this one! This is a heavy duty steel and works wonderfully for what they advertised.

Reduced itching. The suction action does leave a temporary raised circular mark and you do feel the suction action like a very gentle tug. Best to warn kids or do a test run so they know what to expect. Much better solution than chemical itch stoppers.
