The Catit Play Treat Puzzle is a slow interactive cat feeder with 6 fun activities to encourage your cat to work for its cat food! Activities include treat tubes, pyramid forest, treat cave, cat slow feeder bubbles, cat food spiral, and cat tunnels. Place cat dry treats or cat kibble in the different cat bowl puzzle parts and let the fun begin! This cat food puzzle feeder entices cats to paw out food and prevents binge eating and throwing up as a result. It also encourages cats to work for dry food or treats in a fun and natural manner. As cats are true hunters, they need to be able to search and locate food; the cat feeder toy incorporates this idea with a smart design that activates your cat’s natural foraging behavior during playtime. Hiding dry kibble or treats in the puzzle plays on a cat’s instincts to sniff and paw, while also acting as a cat slow feeder so they eat smaller portions. The Catit Play Treat Puzzle is easy to disassemble, and clean plus is made of BPA-free materials. Catit is focused on creating cat enrichment toys and activities for all cats especially indoor cats. Cat toys for indoor cats should encourage a cat’s natural foraging and hunting behaviors. The Catit product lines have created a wide variety of cat toys with this in mind. To complete your cat supplies pair this item with some of the other Catit products including interactive cat toys, cat trees, cat brushes, cat beds, cat towers, cat litter, cat litter box with lids, cat litter deodorizers, cat litter mats, cat scratching posts, cat carriers, cat furniture, cat grass, cat food bowls, cat dishes, cat cubes, cat trees and towers, cat houses, cat condos, cat boxes, catnip, cat feeders, cat towers, cat beds, cat food mats, cat harnesses, cat leashes, cat collars, cat grooming tools, cat food, cat water fountains, cat treats and more cat accessories.

    For a foodie cat.
I wasn’t sure this would be good but Big Kitty really likes it and checks it often for food goodies. It makes his snacking more interesting.

    Smart design and great quality
Even though the company recommends using this just for treats, I’ve been using this as a slow feeder for my kitten and it works great. There are six different layouts for the obstacles and they all have varying degrees of difficulty. I usually use the one like a dimpled golf ball for the kitten because it’s easy for her to access but she can’t gulp down huge mouthfuls of kibble.I currently own five of their products: the massage circuit, the digger slow feeder, this treat puzzle I’m reviewing, and two of their treat balls which I also use as slow feeders with regular kibble. I have the first iteration of the senses super circuit on the way, and I also have the senses circuit 2.0 on the way as well. 2.0 is fully compatible with the other, so that’s a huge plus. I’m looking forward to seeing how the girls react.Overall, I’m becoming very loyal to this company because their products are well thought out, durable, and practical. Just get it. You and your cat family won’t be disappointed.

    Love it
Great puzzle feeder! Easy enough for my cat to learn what to do without frustration and keeps her engaged for a good amount of time! Seems very durable and doesn’t slide around when being used. Perfect puzzle toy to add to my spoiled cats collection!

Great for those who refuse to chew.
Bought this for my main coon who had gotten into the habit of swallowing cups of food whole. This will absolutely slow him down, he enjoys playing with his kibble anyways so having to work for it will entertain him for awhile. The provided pictures I was afraid it would be too small for him but it’s perfect. Definitely a buy for your bigger breeds.

Outer edge of tray too narrow
Nicely built with interesting “tests”, but the outer edge area of the tray surrounding the various “tests” needs to be larger. In all cases, my cat would try to pull a kibble out of a test and it would land in the very narrow tray area around the edge of the tray where her paw or little muzzle still can’t get to it after all that work. I haven’t yet seen her be able to flip one entirely out of a test and completely off of the tray where she can easily get to the food. She gets frustrated and won’t try again no matter how many times I show her or tempt her. Haven’t decided whether to keep it.

    Love…
Thank you, Catit! We have the Digger (also given a Digger as gift) & love this puzzle feeder, too! Use it with frequency, easy to clean, makes his food experience last longer & love that there are multiple feeders from a quality company.

    Stimulates their little bara
This is great for not so smart cats to stimulate their little brains. My black cat is super smart and she didn’t even hesitate to get the treats out. Had it figured out almost immediately. My baby (10 months old) on the other hand isn’t as smart, so she’s figured out the easiest one. She’s working on the others, but I think it’s too much processing for her little head. Plus, she’s a kitten so she has very little patience and is very easily distracted. I’ll keep it till she gets older to see if she figures it out. In the meantime, I have to look for a harder one for my black cat.I gave it 5 starts because it is well built, durable (I’ve accidentally stepped on it a few times), and it’s easy to clean.

    It works!
Really works. It is an integral part of our Skarf and Barf prevention program! I have the smaller Catit food puzzle, and it works fine too, but he’s figured it out. I’ve purchased several food puzzles, and the Catit trays are the only ones that truly slow him down! Even if he figures this one out, it’s so complex that it just takes time for him to navigate it. He hasn’t totally figured out how to do it fast. And the Catit design is very cute. It’s well made and looks interesting, almost like a piece of art. Not quite…but almost!
