Strong, Reliable, and Eco-Friendly
I love these compostable dog poop bags! I feel much better knowing they’re compostable and will biodegrade in a landfill or wherever our trash ends up. The material is strong and durable, so I never worry about the bag breaking while we’re on walks. I use these for my 65-pound dogs and they hold up perfectly. Great quality and an eco-friendly choice—I’ll definitely keep buying these.

Pretty durable for being compostable
I love these bags because they are pretty sturdy and they are compostable. The only thing I didn’t like is trying to take the tape off to start using a new roll would rip a hole in the first bag. But I figured out a trick. Do not try to tear the tape off. Just rip it sideways where it’s taped over the starting edge. The tape rips in half easily. It just won’t come off the bag easily.

A review from someone who wasn’t paid or given free stuff
I bought these kind of on a whim. I have three dogs and I clean up their poop every time they make one in the backyard. It keeps them from stepping in it and tracking it into the house (they are a rambunctious lot). In any case, we’ve used the Earthrated bags for about a year (the old reliable green ones) and decided that if we were going to to toss hundreds of bags of poop into the landfill, the bags should at least break down properly.We gave these a try because they claim to be compost-friendly (made with corn oil or some such thing) and the 270-pack of bags costed less than most other compost-friendly bags. Earthrated’s is still cheaper, but this seemed like a good middle ground.Pros1. The bags are durable/sturdy enough for dog poop. Once the bag is tied off and thrown out, I haven’t noticed any leaking.2. The bags are large enough for poop from an 80lb black lab.3. 270 rolls for its price undercuts most of other compost-friendly bags.4. Assuming the company isn’t lying about how the bags were made, they compost-friendly, which means I’m not contributing as much to plastics being introduced to landfills.5. They are enough to tie off.6. They take something like 90-120 days to breakdown. I keep dog poop in a 5-gallon bucket (with a lid) until trash day when I empty it out. These haven’t broken down and left the 5-gallon bucket a mess.Cons1. These are noticeably thinner than Earthrated bags and I think that’s a common complaint among compost-friendly bags. I haven’t had a problem yet and the poop itself won’t rip the bag. However, I would be lying if I said I didn’t inwardly grown when my dogs pooped on a stick when I didn’t have such a concern with thicker bags.2. The sticker that holds a fresh roll together can sometimes rip the first two bags. I’ve kinda gotten used to it and get a fresh roll open without ripping any bags, but it takes practice.3. When tearing a bag off the roll, you have to be kind of careful with it. A slow tear always works, but I tried to snap one off at the perforation (like I used to do with Earthrated bags), and I ended up tearing the bag instead. Slow tears only.Overall, the cost-benefit of these bags is pretty decent. They have the same downsides as most compost-friendly bags (thinner, more expensive). However, at least at the time I bought them, they were cheaper than most other compost-friendly bags so it was a decent compromise.These bags are far from perfect. They are thin, you have to baby them a little bit, and you have to get a method for getting the sticker off a roll without wasting a bag…but once you get passed all that, these are some of the cheaper compost-friendly bags you can buy.

Reliable, functional eco friendly poop bags!
I have been using these compostable bags for over 2 years. Consistent quality and appreciate a fully compostable bag with no microplastics. Easy to open and use with a dog pulling on a leash with no tearing. I appreciate zero scent and find these bags a cost effective option.

Best bags ever!
These are the best poop bags I have found! The bags are perforated so it is easy to separate a bag from the roll without tearing it and also the bag itself is easy to open. Also I appreciate that the core of the roll is cardboard rather than plastic.

Environmentally friendly, clean, and durable
We appreciate these bags. We’ve used them for 2-3 years. They are big enough to do the job for our large dog and thick enough that I feel comfortable doing my job.They are also rugged enough to stand up to being held fun til the end of my walk or hike until I find a suitable disposal container.We’ve even had an occasion when we left one outside our garage in the rain and it was structured enough to toss in the garbage the next day. We feel like this product checks the preferred boxes for us of being more environmentally friendly, while meeting our needs for ease and cleanliness.

I have repurchased the large box 3 times.These are amazing.As a dog trainer, I clean up a lot of poop. I have always disliked plastic bags, since they are going straight into the garbage!I decided to give these a try and immediately fell in love!I highly recommend these.I find them to be more sturdy than many other plastic poop bags. They are not thin.I have cleaned up large poop, small poop and everything in between with these bags.I have cleaned up poop off every surface you could imagine with these bags.I have NEVER had a bag tear when picking up poop.I have NEVER had these bags misprint the seals, leaving a bag without a bottom.I will continue to buy these forever.In summary: buy these!!

Perfect and good for the environment

But nobody likes to see dog poop everywhere. Our municipality recently introduced dog poop disposal to our green bin program but I needed appropriate compost bags. I looked further at the bags I had been using which made you think they were green…but they were actually still just recycled plastic. Found these which are great! Not small, easy to tear from roll, easy to open not fiddly, thick enough that by time pickup day arrives things aren’t disintegrating or attracting many flies etc. Did the math for 2 dogs and ordered a bunch to stock up. Stuck a galvanized steel pail out lined that with a compost bag and we’re in business!

The packaging is bulky and inconvenient, but the bags are good, so far no leaking/tearing but I am still hesitant because they don’t feel nearly as sturdy as the plastic bags.
