So far so good!..Update…maybe not??
Great price point! This is Not a vine review.DELECTABLY delightful!! Nice and thick and smells pretty good like tuna should which was the flavor I have her. Now I was VERY hesitant because my cat is soo spoiled my one DAISEY, is all about her tempts! And specific ones! So I was VERY scared to introduce her to something new and it’s not like you can open one..give a little then store it away. Aleast not that I know of first off and and secondly…it’s either all or nothing with Queen Daisey who thinks she is a star..well to me I know she is? But she knew before I realized….and after she glares at what looks like her on the bags of cat food….if it was left to me I would never have named her Daisey..I would have been way more creative like I was with my first 3..boots, calico and midnight 😐😑😐😑🙄😑😐 we got grandma to thank for Daisey. Because Tabbytha was having a ring to it when I got her🤦🤷So anyways back to DELECTABLES!!So I dove in because EVERY vet stuff I see on you tube where they give This lickable cat treat stuff..ALL the cats even the meanest of the all..lop this stuff up!So YUP! So far not only does she lop this stuff up..she was literally snooping around all areas around me looking for more! FOR OVER 10 MINUTES!So I haven’t tried all the flavors yet.Now..next was when? When do I give it to her because I certainly can’t afford a pack almost every three days because her ritual for that other treat is EVERY TIME she see me In close proximity to the kitchen? Or once every two to 3 hrs…I am up 12 to 16 hrs a day.. and if I go out on a gig and gone all day? She have been counting so it’s EVERY HR on those days.So I have settled on once in the morning and once at night. Even if I am gone on a gig. So I am thinking once a day is good. At a specific point especially if the cat gets regular random dry treats through the day and night as a standard. If this is your first and only treat you stumbled upon??it will be in your best interest to also find a dry treat as a main treat.Oh.. cat food don’t count..I can’t describe the look I get when I have tried…DONT 😆😆😆Which reminds me..I better go do a write up on that other one. But as for these..I will let you know how all the flavors went…I was VERY shocked she liked the tuna like that because the seafood flavor of the tempts goes to waste when I got it…So i will be back….Update:I had to stop giving it to my Daisey. I don’t know what is put in these things but it’s caused a personality change and attitude in my cat I have not seen. It’s been days since I decided I should stop. She is still looking around..she looks at her treats plate as if she is wishing this stuff to appear then she comes back over to Me sit and glare at me for about 4 minutes then she figures she would do the whole lovey dovey routine..2…then she thinks 3 time is the charm until she gives up and goes and eats the regular treats…she JUST A CAME AND GLARED when she thought what I had in my hand was this stuff..she was sniffing it hards and hated me eat the whole little box of nerds…she sat there looking at me after I was done with this blank dissapointing look when she whips her tail and looks away at me she is letting me know she is not happy at all. I cannot apologize enough it’s as though she knows i have a couple left I ha e shown nor given any clue..yet it’s been a week now and she is still on looking and guilting me about this stuff..What’s in it that’s causing cats to act like this…is it a dab of the white stuff..daddy’s pink stuff…ketamine..what? My cat became a addict on first site the look in her face the first time I thought..maybe this is not a good idea..Well..yup!! Not a good idea..This is not normal so before I take the time to dig into this to see why Daisey is loosing it over this stuff…and it’s not the catnip..not at all..something else is going on.I literally had to promise her once I get some more money I will buy a bunch more so I can control and have it for a while…OR..never get it again..Because of this is how she is acting after intro the first and only time..out will go her regular treats and in this one..The immediate attachment to this and her demeanor and attitude towards it is far from normal and suggested something is in it other than catnip that is causing this.I made a comment that the meanest cats when I saw a you tube about veterinary care and cats..I saw they gave this stuff like this to the cats..and I thought to try…Do I need to send my Daisey to rehab over one encounter with this Delectable stuff??

My cats LOVE their delectables!
We have 4 indoor cats that absolutely love their delectables, so I’m always looking for the best deal for them. I think the price for how many you get, is pretty fair. I know that my cats go absolutely nuts when they see my husband and I getting them ready to give them one each, so I can only imagine that the taste is perfect for their little pallets. They smell like any typical cat food/treat. Also, not something I would really know a lot about, I mean it’s not something that is so stinky you hate giving them it, so it’s a pretty normal smell. The size of the tube is a pro and a con… Pro: the size is perfect when it comes to having to control them and squeeze them up with one hand since, for us, we both have one in each hand to feed all 4 at once. Cons: the tubes are never full, most of the time, they have about half of the tube filled, so it takes a few seconds to even get the treat to the top of the tube for them to get it. Then making it hard to have to stop feeding them for a second so you can try to push the treat that’s went back down the tube, back to the top. Other than that, it’s overall a perfect treat to give your little fur babies. As far as the nutrition goes, as long as you’re giving them in a regulated form, you shouldn’t have any issues. We give our cats, 1 tube each, once a week, which to me is perfect, I’m sure they would say other wise if they could, they would eat these for breakfast, lunch and dinner, every day, and probably until they puked lol you just can’t go wrong with them! Oh, and one other con I would say is that you get 3 flavors in a 20 pack. You would think they would have the same amount for each flavor, but that’s not the case. I know usually cats love fishy stuff, so why do you only include 4 of the salmon one? I don’t like that they didn’t make an even amount for all 3 flavors.

A BIG favorite with all our cats.
We’ve been feeding this treat for many years and were happy to see that Amazon has it for a better price than what is available locally. These are a lot of fun to use as they were designed, by snipping off a corner and letting your cat lick it from the tube, but that causes pandemonium in our multi-cat house, so we give some to each cat on their own dish. Then all we have to do is make sure the ones who finish first don’t try and help themselves to anyone else’s’ dish. The expiration dates were well into the future, which is also a plus over what is available locally. I would definitely recommend this product as an easy and fun way to give your cat a treat. The variety pack is a good way to vary the flavor of treat your cat gets.

Great for cats who need liquid medication
Over the years, we have had many older cats who needed medication to extend the quality & duration of their lives. We have bought many products like sardine oil, extra gravy cat food, etc, etc to mix with their food to avoid the stress they have when we TRY to squirt medicine into their mouths. We have a diabetic cat. Squirting medicine it his mouth did not work as his struggles resulted in the very expensive medicine ending up everywhere except his mouth. But this product is like “crack” cocaine to him. We simply cut the top off just below the tear line with scissors, use one blade to make an opening to insert the syringe that comes with the medicine, fold the hole & hold tightly while using the other hand to gently squeeze the tube to thoroughly mix the medicine with the “crack,” then hand feed him by slowly squeezing the tube. He does the rest. Yes his life will be significantly shortened by the diabetes, but this product will extend the quality & longevity of his life.

A little to pricey
Love these. The smell is not overwhelming, the texture is just right. Not to pasty or watery. Just a little to pricey for the size.

My two cats absolutely love these treat! I squeeze them into a bowl or plate most times tho. Buy them your pet will love them

There are now several brands making similar treats for cats, but the Delectables are always the ones I go back to because my cats clearly prefer them. My only complaint is that the edge of the package can be sharp after you tear it open, so you need to be very careful about your cat cutting his tongue or lip on it. It happened to one of my cats, so now I simply squeeze the contents of the package out in a bowl for them.

if I give my cat more than one of these a day, he gets terrible diarrhea, and he stinks the house up to high heaven! After having just two he had his poops coming down his leg for that I could tell he did not feel good. My vet says it’s the McDonald’s of treats not healthy for them, but he does love them so I gotta give her credit for that I guess lol
