Amazing Results – Noticeably Less Shedding!
I’ve tried a handful of deshedding shampoos over the years, but nothing has worked quite as well as the FURminator. After just a couple of washes, I noticed a significant reduction in the amount of hair around the house and on furniture. My dog’s coat feels soft, looks shinier, and smells great after each bath.What I especially love is that it’s formulated without parabens or chemical dyes—super important for my pup’s sensitive skin. This is the best shampoo,conditioner kit I have ever used…the smell is fresh and it works on my big long coated Showline German Shepherds…will never use anything else

Great conditioner. 10/10
Swear by this conditioner for my dog. He is a corgi/jack russell mixed breed. I use the conditioner for his back. It may seem short but is double-coated and thick and sheds (white inner coat, orange/tannish outer coat). I do Nootie’s warm vanilla cookie shampoo and furminator deshedding conditioner as the combination and it does amazing, very soft, nice run-through and smells amazing. Before I found this combo, he required baths more often or would get itchy more often, he’s very comfy now.

I compared the ingredients of the two and saw only few differences. I ended up opening the bottle anyway and used it on my pug. He is mostly pug, but is mixed with some other type of dog. He has/had a terrible shedding problem but this helped clear it up. I brushed his entire body before washing and got as much hair out as I could. This helps make the shampoo and conditioner work better and stops excess hair from clogging your drain. The directions recommend up to 10 minutes of letting the shampoo and conditioner soak in, but my dog hates taking baths as it is and getting him to stand still for a while was a problem. I coaxed him into cooperating but ripping up some cheese slices. I let the shampoo and conditioner sit for 10 minutes each and washed him thoroughly after words. I didn’t notice much hair falling out while I was washing him, but I remained optimistic. I let him dry in the sun for a half hour and combed him once again. I got almost as much hair out as I did the first time. I let him finish drying all the way for inspected his fur afterward. I am very suprised at how well this actually works. Before I could grab any part of him and pull out (not actually pulling, basically removing the loose hair) 10-20 hairs. Now I can barely get one! It’s been over a week now and the results are the same. The ingredients are all natural things and has no chemical smell to it. I am surprised that the itch relief shampoo works this well, it makes me wonder what the regular FURminator shampoo does.

This is the best shampoo for dogs who shed. It loosens hair through the shampoo and conditioning course of cleaning your dog. It leaves their fur soft and shiny too!

Oh my goodness. So I have never used or had to use a de-shedding shampoo on my dog just because he’s short haired and didn’t seem to shed that much. The older he gets, the more he’s seemed to shed. Recently he had to have minor surgery and much like people, the anesthesia has made him shed hair SO MUCH. Like sweep everyday and make a new dog out of all the fur type shedding. Like “how are you not bald?!” shedding. So I bought this due to all the good reviews and I am NOT disappointed. This product (combined with a washing brush I also bought on Amazon) got out so much loose fur. No joke, I had to use the heavy duty Drano after. Just because of that, I would probably recommend washing with this product outside or have Drano on hand. (My boy is ultra spoiled so he gets in the tub – really, it’s more because he likes to go roll in mud right after I wash him outside.)He also has sensitive skin and allergies, so with any new product I worry that it will make him itch more, but so far he hasn’t been itchy at all. The smell is fine (but lets face it, a dog is a dog and he’s never going to smell like he shoots flowers out his butt). Overall this is a great product and worked very well. He hasn’t been shedding nearly as much since I washed him. I would recommend it to anyone – not just for dogs that don’t shed “that much”. This product will definitely be added to his grooming routine. My only concern is that the bottle doesn’t state how often you can use it on your pet. Since he’s not shedding too bad anymore I will probably alternate this with his other shampoo.

Great pet shampoo
This shampoo along with the conditioner will help get rid of a lot of the loose hair that on my dog now. It helps him smell better even though everything a farm dog gets into.

Smells AMAZING!
Purchased for a 1 yr old Huskey.Huskies are known for their massive undercoat & ability to shed all year around. So I am constantly brushing. Multiple times a day. And bathing a hyper dog with a thick undercoat is no small feat. It takes FOREVER!In an attempt to de-shed and reduce the number of baths I have to give my pup, I purchased this on sale to try.First, the smell is amazing. Think coconut creme. And it increases the time between baths because she doesn’t smell “doggy”.It does appear to help with the shedding…I use the spray with an undercoat tool and they work well together. I still have to be pretty consistent with the brushing, but less and less fur is coming out during the brushing sessions.I really do like the product and my pup doesn’t seem to mind it either.Win/Win in my book!

I have a 5 year old Golden Retriever/Cocker Spaniel and he is the best dog you could ask for. Super cute, always wants to please and is great with kids. My only complaint about him was the amount of hair. The constant endless relentless battle with dog hair everywhere, the car, the house, anything black you get the idea. Then someone mentioned this shampoo and conditioner and I thought it’s my salvation! I’m not going to say its perfect and there nary a hair to be found, but I got lots of hair out in the bath and the shedding is dramatically and noticeably reduced. He always HAS to be touching me when we are in the house watching tv or I’m on the computer and I’ve noticed a dramatic difference in the hair transfer. Oh and the smell! I wanted to cuddle him constantly after his bath cause his fur was so soft and fluffy and healthy looking and he smelled so fantastic (I”m sure he thought I’d lost my mind telling him how handsome he looked and how great he smelled… and it lasts for a while, a week later and there was still a faint whiff of the pleasant smell. I think the thing I like the most though is that its made of primarily natural ingredients so while he smells great I don’t feel like I’ve covered him in chemicals. He was a good sport despite looking like I’d murdered his favourite stuffy while we were waiting for the product to “soak” for the 10 mins and then another 10 for the conditioner but he got lots of treats during and after the process because I will definitely be making this a routine thing and I”m gonna bribe him until he loses the murderous look
