Great for the colder months
We purchased this for a couple strays that we feed. We live in the Northeast where it gets pretty cold and these lived up to the description. The cats loved them and it seemed to keep them toasty on cold, snowy days. It can fit two cats but we found each cat liked their own. It comes with a clear shield that Velcro’s at the opening to keep the elements from sneaking in. The waterproof covering that fits over the cage lasted well and had no holes or leaks throughout the winter. We took the heating pads out and replaced them with comfy padding for the warmer months. This was easy to put together and made us feel happy that the cats were safe and warm.

Overall pleased with shelter and included heating pad.
One of our two feral cats uses this house every night. It’s very comfortable and roomy, but in the bitter cold (we are in upstate NY) it doesn’t retain the heat as well as another product we have that is smaller and made of solid plastic. The two entrances are large and allow in cold air. I had to shore it up with cinder blocks and plywood. I think this would be a perfect shelter in warmer climate. Overall pleased with this product.

Nice roomy shelter
My ferals use them every night. It’s nice and big and can easily fit two cats. Love the idea of essentially being a small dog crate. Very easy to assemble. The only issue I’ve seen is the flap is a little too thick. Sometimes the cats have a hard time pushing it to get out.

It didn’t come with temperature gauge and thick pad, just a thin mat with a plug in. Where’s the thick mat?
