Very sturdy, tall cat tree that holds up to real use
This cat tree is impressively sturdy, especially for its height. Once assembled, it feels solid and well-balanced, even when my cats jump or climb quickly between levels. The base is heavy and supportive, which makes a big difference compared to lighter cat trees that tend to wobble over time.The platforms are spacious enough for adult cats to lounge comfortably, and the multiple levels give them plenty of vertical space to climb and perch. The scratching posts are thick and well-wrapped, and my cats started using them almost immediately instead of going for furniture. This 70-inch cat tree is AMAZING! I have two cats, Starr and Cozmo, and they absolutely love it. From the moment it was set up, they claimed it as their own. There’s plenty of space for both of them to climb, lounge, scratch, and perch without getting in each other’s way.The height is perfect—they love being able to sit up high and survey their kingdom. It’s sturdy, well-made, and doesn’t wobble, even with two cats jumping and playing on it. The scratching posts are a huge hit, and the cozy spots make nap time extra special.If you have more than one cat and want something that keeps them entertained, comfortable, and happy, this cat tree is 100% worth it. My cats love their upgraded tree! It was easy to build, looks nice & is very sturdy! I got it on sale and it was such a great value for the height of the tree! It holds all three cats and is stable without attaching it to the wall! I am happy with this purchase.

Initial observations. Longevity unknown.We have had this 70 inch heavy duty cat tree up for about 4 days. So far, it’s a big hit with our 7 month old kittens Opal and Onyx. Onyx has a blast on it all by herself and thus far, Ms. Opal mostly goes for the naps. Pic shows kittens sharing hammock. Video is self explanatory.I believe it came with some kind of tethering apparatus but we had a corner already planned and had already anticipated a possible tip hazard and nested it in the corner accordingly. No big deal.I found it rather simple to assemble if you follow the instructions. As I recall, there were a few places here and there that required the use of the included allen key. There are some smaller diameter allen screws that use the same key however the key doesn’t fit as deep, and the allen key tool has a propensoty to cam out. Hold it tight and be careful. A higher quality key may be of benifit.As far as tipping goes, at 70 inches tall, adding some compatible pieces would be as simple as swapping in some double end studs along with more wrapped poles, perches, platforms and baskets. This set is very modular friendly. Simply buy more sets, mix and match, create and build.Quality of material and components. Well, alot of that depends on the cat. The scratch posts are pretty well wrapped in hemp type rope, and good cats will use it. The grey material is some sort of velvet cloth. It seems all attached well and what sewing has been done, was done well. The poles are pretty thick cardboard with nut insert imbedded hard plastic end caps. I hand torqued them tight, really tight. Zero issues. The wood platforms are a higher quality particle board. Not mdf. They appear to have a water repellent glue but It’s hard to tell for sure.I would not put this anywhere humid without confirming how water proof the cardboard and particle board are.Maintenance and cleaning. Yikes. Good grief!. Good luck with that. Now if the wood/paper components were water proof…. Pray your cats are responsible home owners, and plan on getting proficient at recovering it with estate sale fabrics.Kindest regards,-A

This is a great cat tree! Easy to put together and no need for the wall support. Very stable. My 6 month kitten took to it right away! The fabric is soft. Good for the price!

My 4 mos old kitten loves this tree. He was in it while we were constructing. He climbs it repeatedly and sleeps on it. Happily construction was very straightforward with easy to understand instructions. My older cat got on it for catnip but he’s not a climber these days!
