Well made, embroidery NOT glued on!
Excellent product (just rec’d); unlike most other customized collars, the name & number are woven -into- the nylon fabric, not glued on as do most of these types. The embroidery is clear, bold and crisply done. Spelling & number are correct. It seems well and ruggedly made yet properly elegant. Note that it can be 12″ long (adjustable to much less but it may overlap a sliding fitting over your info). so this may be a tad big for the littler ones. So far, very pleased and looking forward to its longevity.

Absolutely incredible collars
I’ve bought several of these for my cats in the past. Now that I have more cats, I am considering buying all new collars for all of them. These come exactly as shown on screen, and the choice of colors and customization are wonderful. You can remove the bell if you don’t want it on, and the breakaway aspect is my favorite part about them. Even with these being customized, they ship and arrive very quickly.

Nice but One Issue
I’ve ordered four of these collars for my two cats Sammy and Calley. One is lost and I looked for weeks but no luck. (Both are totally inside cats.) The collars look very nice and the names on the collars are very well done.Two collars are in service and one is damaged and in a drawer waiting for a glue job to come. Here are the problems. First, it is easy for the cats to get out off the collars. All they have to do is lie on their side and use a rear foot to get under the collar and with a push on the collar and it becomes unbuckled and falls off. I put a touch of glue on the buckle and this stopped the collar from coming off any more. Of course, that ends the total safety of the collar but with enough effort I think the glue joint would break and the collar would come off if it was a good thing to happen. I put a tiny amount of liquid glue on the buckle then closed it while the collar was OFF the cats.The second issue is that the seller puts the name and phone number in the center of the collar. I have two average sized cats at nine pounds each. When you adjust the collar to size the adjustment piece ends up covering up part of the phone number. It seems to me that if the phone and name started near the buckle then this would not be a problem. They should consider this and try several placements of the written material to solve this issue. I do not care for a bell and took all the bells off the four collars I’ve ordered. The reason the buckle initially need glue is that after getting the collar off the cats chewed up the plastic buckle cracking it. It no longer would hold properly and that is the first reason for the glue. The second reason is to keep it from becoming unbuckled by the cats who did not initially like wearing the collars. I would recommend buying the collar as they look nice but with some cats (like mine) there can be problems.Another thing is I would never put glue on the collar while the collar was on the cat. So after the glue totally dried I have to put on the collar by slipping it over their heads. This is no big deal and if you can get it over their heads then it will not be too tight. Plus, I waited for a full 24 hours after the glue was placed before putting the collar back on the cats.Recommend to buy: yes; will need to fix: probably depending on your cat.

So far I really like this collar seems very safe & easy to pull apart
My cat had 98% percent of her teeth removed and the vet left her two bottom canines because they were the only few teeth that didn’t need to come out. But they get stuck on collars when she cleans herself and basically gag her. The last collars I ordered on Amazon (not this collar) did not break away and I came home to her gagged and felt terrible! I am testing this one out with supervision, but I can break it apart really easily.That said, the stitching is really nice and legible and bright. Pandora is my bigger cat of the two and it fits her perfectly without cutting off the last number of the phone number, but my smaller cat it would need to be tighter and would need to cut off the last number or two. Something to keep in mind. Overall I think it’s a nice collar and I also like that it has a bell but the clasp that holds the bell prevents it from dangling too low. Pandora doesn’t like tags or anything that dangles she constantly tries to mess with it and I think that’s why she got gagged the last time. The clasp that holds the bell also doubles as the piece that holds the two pieces of the collar together…I’m not sure how to phrase it but when you tighten the collar you are left with two strips of collar on top of each other, and the bell clasp goes over both pieces and holds them together nicely.

Breaks away too easily
I like the quality of the collar and the embroidery of the name and info. However, I had to make a modification to the buckle because it would break away even if our cat was scratching. I used a file to reduce the angle on the back of the catch on the male side of the buckle. Now it still breaks away but not quite as easily.

This is my 4th collar that I’ve ordered from the GoTags people. My Senior, social, 12lb cat likes to visit with people on the patio of my local Mexican restaurant.. He doesn’t tolerate some foods well anymore and a GoTag collar was the solution. The collar is well made with easily readable wording. It says “no spicy food / no queso.” The only reason we’ve gone through so many collars is because the Break Away clip works exactly as designed. The product is as ordered, on time and the customer service is excellent. Thank you, GoTags for helping us solve this problem, while my cat remains Mr Social guy with no worries.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour mon jeune chat de 10 mois maintenant et je recommande vivement. La broderie est parfaite et bien lisible. Il faut simplement prendre correctement le tour de cou de votre animal, pour mon titi le XS est impeccable. Seul inconvénient: la livraison assez longue d’environ 3 semaines mais cela vaut le coup d’attendre car rapport qualité prix rien à dire.

A really beautiful collar . My elderly cat usually won’t tolerate it collar but happily wears this . It took a while to arrive but was worth the wait. I would highly recommend.
