I have a Boston Terrier and a Pug. They love to play and get into hijinks together. Our Pug is really inquisitive and has wandered to check out the world around him. I needed a way to ensure I always know where he is due to his rambunctious nature. This Guardtix GPD pet locator works perfectly to let me know where my little dog runs off too.This set comes with GPS locator, collar connection point, charging cable, and easy to follow activation and use instructions. This device charges extremely fast and will hold a charge for up to 9 days. It is lightning fast to setup and pair with your phone. I tested it out and it is extremely accurate to pinpoint where your pet is wandering off to. It does require a paid plan after the free trial, but the plans are extremely affordable. It costs pennies a day to have peace of mind knowing your pets are safe and secure.This device is loaded with features, is super easy to use (even if you’re not a tech-savvy person), and it’s extremely affordable. I can’t recommend this highly enough! This is the one to get folks.

Not what I expected. GPS is slow to update. No customer service
Poor customer service. Called customer service number on the app and left a message. No return call. Tracker goes off line often and does not track in real time. Says it’s using Wi-Fi to save battery but no way to input Wi-Fi password. Accuracy sketchy. No what I was expecting from a gps dog tracker. Hope to get my subscription money returned.

Cheap device, expensive subscription
I had high hopes for this tracker as a backup in case my cat ever got out so I could recover him before he got eaten by a hawk, an owl, or a coyote (it’s a tough neighborhood). This sadly isn’t it.It’s too big for a small dog or cat so only big dogs for this one. The silicone straps seem too easily broken to me.The price of the tracker should have been my tip off. Under $14 for a GPS tracker? Amazing, right? Until you see the subscription price for the app to make it work. $6-7/month? Prepaid? It’s like printers and ink cartridges, the device is super cheap and the cartridges or in this case, the app subscription, is where they really make their money, and you have no other option to make the device work. No thank you.I checked the reviews for the app, and they are not positive. A shame because i had hopes for this.

Accurate GPS pet tracker
Accurate and easy to use GPS tracker for pets. The durable, lightweight tracker attaches securely to the collar. The device requires a subscription but provides great peace of mind. The tracker works great to show the current location and a map of their travels for up to 180 days. I love being able to have my contact info available to someone who finds your missing pet!

This actual device and the packaging of it and the attachment silicone straps and instructions and just everything is top-notch!What an absolute shame that such an awesome piece of hardware and it’s accoutrements can’t be actually used without their app and their fees.I’m not going there. Especially not with some of the reviews posted for the app. Hmmmm….
