Review of Jim Hodges Leash
I recently ordered multiple leashes for my dogs, and I must say, I am extremely impressed by the quality and durability of this product. I have been looking for a leash that is both secure and comfortable for my dogs, and this one most definitely fits the bill.The leash itself seems to be made of high-quality rubber with a non-slip surface that makes it easier to grip. The collar clip is extremely secure and seems to hold up well to pullers.I appreciate the time and attention to detail put into making these. I went ahead and purchased a martingale style collar for my dogs from this business as well. Unfortunately, there seems to have been a mix up with my order, and Amazons shipping partner ended up delivering it to the wrong address, providing me with a wrong delivery picture. However, I would most definitely order from Jim Hodges more often. Thanks !

Excellent quality lead for training and daily use.
This lead is well worth the money. I am using it to train my Standard Poodle and appreciate the grip it provides. It is waterproof and very comfortable in your hands. The quality is first rate with brass fittings that are a very nice weight. The 6 foot length is the perfect size for training. I also like that you can loop it around your body for off leash events. It appears to be chew resistant and it functions ideally for training. I am going to purchase a matching collar for my girl!

Best Leashes in the industry
Jim Hodges Leashes are my go to – I won’t use any other leash . They are such great quality and the feel and hardware is perfect . Never had an equipment failure with these. As a professional training organization we have probably 40 of these leashes in varying lengths and widths.

Pricey at first, but the only leash I use now
I used to think it was silly to spend good money on a dog leash because I went through them so fast — lost them, tore them, or they just wore out. That changed after my dog did a three-week board-and-train program. They used silicone leashes, and I kept seeing them during weekly training sessions afterward. Eventually, I bought one for myself.Yes, it’s more expensive than a standard leash, but now it’s the only one I use. It’s sturdy, not slippery, and feels really reliable in your hand. I’ve had to replace it twice — once after it fell in the water while boating, and once when another dog chewed it — and both times I was genuinely annoyed because I didn’t want to be without it. I always recommend this style of leash to other dog owners now. Worth it.

I am a dog trainer and work in a canine facility. I have seen nearly every type of leash imaginable.These leashes are top quality, nearly indestructible, and very easy to clean. They don’t tangle or get soaked in the rain, and the loop at the handle lets you use it to tie to a pole or other anchor.I highly recommend this product. I purchased the 4ft and 6ft (5/8”) versions for different situations when I’m out with my pup. When I’m in the city I want to use a shorter leash, and when I’m at the park or in a less crowded place I like to use a longer leash.This product is worth every penny. Shipping was quick and easy.

Good product, tough material and quality clasps, bright colors don’t get lost!
The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is my presa canario puppy gnawed through in his teething stage. Hard to believe, most dogs do not like the high strength webbing inside and quit, but not this guy. Love the water proof material, easy clean, and great lengths.

Professional Dog Trainers have recommended this leash.Wow! This Dog Leash is a Game Changer, especially when you have a Large Breed like an XL Bully.Great Quality & Feel! It’s like Fake Leather. Easy to clean and will last a lifetime, provided your Dog does not chew on it!I will only buy this leash in the future. Nylon tends to fray and is slippery when it gets wet, which can be dangerous for you and your dog.

I wanted a 6 foot leash. I wanted biothane. This was recommended by a police dog trainer and although it cost more than some others I am extremely pleased I bought it. Excellent quality, lighter than my previous nylon leash, soft in the hand, easy to shorten and loop around finger or hand and the clip has NEVER come undone. I would happily buy another one if this one ever dies. You get what you pay for. I use it with my 35kg Malinois.
