I’m very happy with this purchase. I already put it together and the assembly was quick and easy, with clear steps and no issues at all. Cozy heated shelter for cats
I bought this heated cat house for the local stray that hangs out by our sailing club, and she absolutely loves it. It stays warm and cozy even on cold, rainy days, which makes me feel better knowing she has a safe place to rest. The insulation really works—inside stays noticeably warmer, and the windproof design keeps the cold air out. It’s sturdy, easy to set up, and holds up well against rough weather by the water. The elevated design keeps everything dry, and overall it’s been such a great way to give her a comfortable, secure spot day and night.

Winter cover for stray kitties!
We have a couple stray kitty’s in our neighborhood. I got this outdoor cathouse to try to offer them somewhere warm for shelter now that it’s getting cold outside. This is a nice, basic shelter for the price. It was super easy to put together and light weight to move outside. I like that it came with some hefty stakes to weigh down if needed. My 4 year old son was super interested as I was putting it together, so he wanted to try it out by putting our Pomeranian inside lol. As you can see in the video with her in there for reference, there’s a good amount of space inside! (She’s an 8 lb dog) It would easily fit two small cats, or maybe one large one. The inside walls and roof are all insulated, and the outside material is waterproof. I like that there is a ledge over the door to keep rain/snow out, and the roof also has an overhang on all sides. Once I plugged this in the heating pad inside got nice and toasty warm! Tip: When putting it together, loop the tabs through the poles before you snap the connectors into place. The directions didn’t specify that, so I will have to redo the base. It was easy, so not the biggest deal. Two things I would maybe change is the part where the heating pad cord comes out could be better closed off from the outside once you pull the plug through. I like the roof easily detaches to make it easy to clean, etc. and I will say it does Velcro into place very securely. However, time will tell how leak proof that is and I will probably keep it in a covered area just to be on the safe side. Overall, this was a good option for the price!SIDE NOTE: we are going to put this up on the deck where the cats can get through the wooden slats, but predators like coyotes can not get up onto the deck. PLEASE always put something like this high up or protected in that way so larger animals can not get to it. Just putting it down on the ground, coyotes could easily get to the cat inside and unfortunately coyotes are pretty rampant, at least where we are. It is not uncommon for them to go after small animals like cats and dogs
