    Expensive but worth the cost
This is the only wet food I have found that my long haired cat can eat without vomitting. I have tried other expensive cat foods that my other cat likes, but for some reason (it could be eating too fast), this one cat cannot hold other foods down.In addition to hair balls, my long haired cat has had severe problems with constipation and dehydration that have led to two vet visits where they had to perform an enema and give her an IV.After the first vet visit, the vet recommended that we pay $500 for an ultrasound to see if she had some type of digestive disease since the bloodwork came back negative. However, the second vet (at the emergency clinic) thought she just wasn’t getting enough water, so he told us to remove dry food from her diet and replace it with low carb, all meat wet food with no extras, like the gravy that comes in some wet food.We have not had any more issues with vomitting or emergency vet visits since we started feeding our cats this wet food two times a day. We open two cans in the morning, and store them in the fridge until dinner time, when they finish the rest. We leave a tiny bit of hairball control dry food out while we are at work for them to snack on. Sometimes I give them a third can at night depending on if they still seem hungry. It’s only been two months since our last vet scare, but it seems like this food has helped. Both of our cats have MUCH better fur that looks so much healthier, and I am happy to report that our litter box has more poop in it (which is something monitor after the constipation scares). This cat food is expensive (I’m now spending at least $100 on cat food a month when you take into consideration the dry food), but honestly it is worth it if your cat has a history like ours.

    Healthy Food for Healthy Cats
Awesome wet food for cats w hairball control. As they are always grooming themselves and this helps with the elevation of hairballs in their stool. Save a lot of money on Vet bills. However, this food has not been available at all in stores and online. Researched to see if there was a call back but to no avail. Sent an email to Hills, Science Diet located in Topeka, Kansas w no response. I anyone out here has an answer, please let us know.

    Amazing help for hairballs
Definitely helps with our cats hairballs. The cats love this, helps their coat look shiny and soft, and had helped reduce hairballs.

Effective Solution to Hairball Land Mines
My little ones absolutely love this particular recipe. I have very picky little guys and they will let me know their opinion. I was at an end trying to figure out how to rid the land mines of hair ball deposits all over the apartment and my bed with brand new linens. I tried this wet food and have noticed a remarkable decrease in the amount of hairballs- a considerable decrease. I trust Science Diet and have always preferred it over other fad foods. This particular product is effective and most importantly, they love the taste. The one downside- the smell is not so nice but I guess to them it is a perfect meal.

The food is high quality, but…
My cat doesn’t care for it but my brother’s cat loves it so gave it to him. I’ll have to stay with dry hairball food. No big deal.

CAT GIVES IT 4 1/2 STARS
Number one importance, the cat is happy to eat it. There’s only one thing on his menu that he likes more. I’m sure both help with his hairball/digestive issues that were becoming a problem (and costing me money with runs to the Vet) but this is more affordable. I only have one cat and the large cans are a bit of a problem. The smaller cans are harder to find. I think there’s a lot of oil in there because the consistency is looser and that means he’s happier to eat leftovers.

    My cat Missy
I have used this, along with Hill’s Science Diet dry, for over 3 years now. My cat is aging, and was getting very picky about her food — she likes this, and only turns it down when she is not hungry. Usually, she will eat her entire dish full. She has far less hair balls, and only once in a while will throw some up — I think this diet helps quite a bit.Mainly, I’m happy with it because she seems to like it, and didn’t like anything else. Yes, I’ve tried them all — the Purina stuff was the worst.

    Texture doesn’t look right
The food looks watery! The food is not solid it used to be more solid like a kind of paté. I am afraid of feeding my cats I don’t know if this food my be spoiled. Also Amazon is not letting me return it through the Amazon app after I explain the reason why I would like to return it doesn’t give me the option to continue. I will be buying less and less through Amazon for real.

Our little fur baby used to “produce” a hairball everyday, sometimes many times per day. We have tried everything to help her so we decided that perhaps we should change her food. Since she has been eating this food, usually one can sometimes two, she has not had a hairball! Took about one week and we will never feed her anything else. I also feed her Whiskas Hairball Control so she always has dry food at the ready.
