Fits cats so comfortable! The hood keeps litter in !
Love love love it ! #1 . It’s made here at home in the USA. 2#. Box hood is very, very heavy and sturdy. It does not fall off when box is moved or picked up. 3#. One of my cats was having behavioral issues with using the box as the other one was being a bully. This box is large enough for each to have their own space when using. The bullying issue has been resolved, and they each use the box now. 4#. We don’t have a litter mat, and this hood does its job as our diggers have not been able to kick any litter out. I sweep the floor when needed. 5#. While this box size is perfect for my 2 cats, it is very big and bulky to carry. I totally recommend dumping your litter outside in a separate trash bag or just in your trash toter. Not a trash can in your house. But, a heavy litter box or your cats kicking out litter constantly? I choose this box. A heavy litter box or bullying poo issues? I choose this box cause it resolved that problem! If another box ever needed, I will buy this one again!

It’s huge and high and keeps the litter in
Good price for a huge litter box that does prevent the litter from being tossed all around by cats that excavate the box.It does have little nooks at the entry and a lower channel around the entire interior that’s not easy to scoop, but found an old scoop with a rounded corners that gets the job done. So it’s easy enough to scoop and keep clean. Bigger boxes really are better. I have two cats and wonder why I never thought to buy bigger before. The high sides are a selling point as well.

When they said xx-large they meant it. The litter box could hold four cats. I purchased for my fat lazy cat so she had more room to move around. The high sides are perfect for keeping the litter in the box. Does take 38 pounds of litter or more depending on the depth you want the litter. The box it was shipped in was the perfect size. Seems pretty sturdy and is easy to clean.

Best litter box ever once you find the solution to its design flaw…
Overall, this is the largest litter box on the market for cats and includes sides to help block their pee! Large cat owners need more access to larger litter boxes that won’t break the bank. I’ve looked everywhere locally and online. I’m on my second one ordered since we wanted one upstairs and one downstairs for our large cat. He took to using it right away. I like that it immediately produced very little litter spillage on my floors! This was a huge issue I was looking to solve. A design flaw in this product as others have shared is that sometimes when the cat pees, their pee goes through the crevice of where the lid sits on the bottom box. This produces pee on the floor and makes you have to check the box more frequently and clean the mess. Disappointed that I have to fix a design flaw (all boxes have them and hard to avoid cracks between the top and bottom as this is the design that is needed to be most beneficial and provide ease of access for the owner) but a solution to this problem that doesn’t cost too much and isn’t too sightly is to use office clips to clip the top and bottom together. This creates a nice solid closure and leaves no room for pee to sit. This explains my 4 stars rating instead of 5 stars. You either leave the clips on all the time and scoop out the litter box or remove the clips each time you change the litter. Other than that, this litter box is one of our favorites. Treating it with care, I believe it will last us a while. Packaging both times arrived undamaged and received a clean, unused product. See photo of my invention. Hopefully, it can help you too! 🙂

Problem solving litter box
This is a fabulous litter box. It is large enough that both of my cats can use it. When they used it before, one of them consistently would miss the box. This box has solved the problem. It has very tall sides so that everything stays in the box. It was a reasonable price as well.

Great size and value
This is exactly what we were looking for having a multi cat household. It’s true to size, very spacious. It allows for your cat to fully go inside and do their business without kicking litter everywhere. The walls do a great job of keeping it contained. The ledge at the entrance is pretty good at kicking residual litter back inside the bin, but as with all boxes and cats they will track some outside. I would repurchase to replace if needed.

It’s great for bigger cats
I can not recommend this enough! I have 6 cats and they ALL love this litter box.My 15 year old has arthritis and she’s been having some issues staying in the box, so I decided to try a bigger option to see if that would help her. It’s been 2 weeks now and she’s only had one accident (and it was solid so less problematic than any other option)It’s so large and somehow fits perfectly in the same spot we had the last one in. This is a very roomy litter box. If they wanted to, 3 of my cats could comfortably be in here simultaneously, see picture. Dresden is a long haired domestic, he is 13lb and barely takes up a corner!Lid and ease of scooping. The lid doesn’t clip on as strongly as I’d like, it just kind of rests on the base, but I haven’t had any issues with it so far. I’ll update if that changes. I will say that most of our litter boxes are fully covered lids, so being able to just lean over and scoop this one out is so much easier.Value for money. My friend got a similarly sized box (although a bit smaller) and she paid almost $60 just because it has a side entrance. I am very pleased that this was less than $40, I think it was a bargain.

Wollte unseren Katzen was gutes tun und die große Toilette gekauft. Aufbau, Qualität und Reinigung sind gut.Unsere Katzen sind Randpinkler, die durch das Klo auch nicht besser erzogen werden 😄 Ansonsten schöne Größe und man muss etwas weniger Streu erneuern. Das Streu riecht durch die Größe auch nicht so schnell.

Litter box arrived in an extremely damaged box that was poorly taped and used very thin cardboard with no extra filling to stop the cardboard from collapsing in on itself. One of the clips broke that hold the “Scatter Shield” down (I could not find the missing broken piece). The “Scatter Shield” is loose as a result, but so far the cats have not knocked it off the litter box.The bottom of the litter box flexes more than I was expecting, which off put the cats the first time they used the box and can cause litter to launch itself if they walk/jump on it in a certain way. But the “Scatter Shield” helps keep it in the box. I would have expected the bottom of the litter box to be reinforced better or be completely flat. Since the bottom is not flat, things tend to get stuck in the corners making it awkward to clean.The XL litter box has been working and was the size I was looking for, but I would not get this one again or recommend it, based on the overall experience.

Wir haben einen sehr großen Kater, der bisher Freigänger war, nun aber aus gesundheitlichen Gründen drinnen bleiben muss. Deshalb brauchte es nun auch eine entsprechend große Toilette.Die Toilette wurde schnell geliefert und war sicher verpackt, so dass sie direkt einsatzbereit war. Beide Toilettengänger sind damit sehr zufrieden und gehen fast nur noch auf diese Toilette, auch wenn andere Optionen zur Verfügung stehen. Das Material ist ordentlich, das Klumpstreu bleibt daran nicht fies kleben, und die Reinigung ist entsprechend einfach.Wir sind sehr zufrieden und werden auch noch eine zweite kaufen. Offensichtlich will man sich ja darin bewegen können. 😉
