    Exactly what we needed!
Exactly what we needed! We have a Toyota 4Runner and usually travel with our 24# Australian Shepherd mix. He does not love riding in the car and ends up jumping into the front seat to stand on my lap. This new waterproof dog car seat platform is a perfect solution for both the dog’s safety and my comfort. The mesh area on the front panel allows the console vents for the back seat to still deliver heat or air conditioning. It also allows the dog to see us without falling off the seat onto the floor. We went on a long drive this weekend so the dog had plenty of time to check out the new set up. He has a dog car seat which is a padded square box that I put back in the car and I also added a comfy pillow on the back seat. He spend his time going back and forth between the car seat and the comfy pillow. He even actually laid down and relaxed on the back seat which is highly unusual for him. Australian Shepherd are good jumpers so he was easily able to clear the new barrier but was quickly returned to the back. I did have him ride in the front seat for a short bit but he actually chose to jump the barrier and return to the back seat on his own.The car seat platform is constructed using 3 separate hard panels. If you have a passenger, a panel can be be folded under to only cover 2/3rds of the back seat to allow room for the passenger. The plastic panels are in zippered pouches so you could also remove the plastic panels if desired to best fit your vehicle. The platform also protects our leather upholstery and it is easy to wipe clean. This set is a great size for our 5th Gen 4Runner. The platform fills the backseat and covers the floor area. There is a front and a rear panel attached to the platform that attach to the head rests on both the front and back seats. There are also sides you can zip up if you do not want your dog to able to easily jump out of the car when you open the rear doors.Overall, this is a great solution for us and exactly what we needed.

Smartly Designed Hard-Bottom Dog Mat That Actually Holds Up…
We originally had a different dog mat in the car, but it didn’t take long before the bottom started bending and losing its shape. Not exactly confidence inspiring when you’re trying to protect your seats. So we went back to the drawing board and ended up with this hard-bottom dog mat and so far, it’s been a much better experience. One of the first things I noticed (and really liked) is that the bottom is made up of three separate hard panels. That design is fantastic because you can remove one or two panels if you need space for a passenger, instead of having to take the entire mat out. It’s a really thoughtful feature that adds a lot of flexibility.I will say, based on the listing images, I expected the sides to be hard as well, but they’re not. That’s not a bad thing at all. It’s just an observation, so expectations are set correctly.Installation was easy, it cleans up nicely, and most importantly, the hard bottom has held up far better than our previous mat. Even better, this one was about half the price of the last one we tried.Overall, it feels like nice quality, durable, and reasonably priced. If you’re replacing a mat that didn’t live up to the “hard bottom” promise, this one is definitely worth a look.

If you have dogs and a car you should buy this.
Right before I got this assembly one of my dogs but the other. Whisked her to the vet ER. My upholstery in my car is white leather (I know so dumb) and I soon found out organic materials from us mammals tends to stain white leather. Who knew? Oh yeah, EVERYBODY LOL.This assembly is brilliant with a capital B. No need to fold down seats. Unfold the panels in place and secure them to headrests and grab handle in the headliner with clips. Boom. Done. It’s a real godsend for pet owners. Not only does it protect your upholstery it’s better for your dog too. Obviously they still need to be restrained in the backseat with a harness of some kind but this helps by keeping them in only the row it’s installed in. Also protects seat backs of driver and passenger. The mesh section between the front seats is a nice touch. It’s not cheap but reasonably priced because it’s well made and sturdy using good materials. Worth every penny.

very nice and seems well made
Alright, let’s be real—it does not look quite as neat and perfect as the photos once your dogs are in it, but honestly, it’s still a really solid car seat cover. The faux leather material feels super durable, wipes clean easily, and actually fits really well in my RAV4. I’ve taken both of my black labs for a ride in it, and despite one of them being a full-blown tornado in dog form, there’s not a single scratch on it. That alone is impressive. The hard bottom is a game changer. They don’t feel like they’re going to fall into the gap between the front and back seats, so they actually settle in instead of pacing like maniacs. Big win.The only thing I don’t love? The side flaps. I get why they’re there, but I wish there was a better system. One of my labs keeps getting his big head caught in the straps that hold the sides up when he tries to stick his head out the window. I want the doors protected, but I also want my dogs to be able to enjoy the ride without getting tangled.Still—sturdy, sleek, and dog-proof enough for my crew. That’s a win in my book.

    Better quality than expected!
This is a great dog seat cover! Truly waterproof. Nice hard floor to extend the seat and prevent my dog from going into the floor. Simple to install. Better quality than I expected! Much nicer than others I’ve had, and so much easier to clean!

Keep your pup from falling off the seat & to give them some extra room!
A must have for travelers with a dog. Overall, no issues with the fit or construction. The material seems to have decent grip to it as well, so my dog doesnt slide everywhere, but I usually have a mat on top of it as well since he’s older and needs a little extra padding. Additionally the “anchors” that tuck into the seat to keep this from moving around, seem to hold really well and Ive had no issues with them coming out. It’s also quick to fold up and stow in the trunk when I need to. This fit a 2016 Jeep Cherokee perfectly and I appreciate the extra pockets. I also dont usually zip up the sides, but that is an option.
