Keeps food clean and dry
I feed several stray cats and have a nice setup on my carport with 3 heated cat houses, a heated water bowl, double heated food bowl for wet food and 3 bowls with kibble and treats. I had trouble with the food getting wet or dirty when it was windy, so I needed a solution.After looking at several items, I think decided on this kitty dining room. It is big enough for their kibble/treat bowls, and was easily assembled with velcro. It keeps the food safe and dry, and the cats love it. I was a little worried that they might be spooked by it, but they walked right up and started eating. Two cats can easily eat side by side at the same time.It has an opening in the back for a cord to go thru, so 2plan to get a 2nd one for the heated wet food double dish.Great investment, highly recommend

Good product!
I have to be honest, I wasn’t sure these would work. I have feral cats. They feed off my driveway and every day had a flock of about 50 birds coming to eat the cat food. I set these up and no more birds. And they do a pretty good job of keeping the cat food dry, and the water clean. I have three set up on my driveway. The only problem I have with them is that there are no windows in them, and the cats are only able to stick their heads into eat, but they’re constantly looking around because they can’t see through the sides or the back. They’d be really great if they had some kind of insulated plastic window on each side and the back. But nonetheless, they serve the purpose, and they were priced well and as lightweight as they are, with the balls inside, they don’t blow over in the wind.

Outside Kitchen for Pets
Love this feeding station. Once again K&H products come through. It’s easy to put together. Velcro connections. Water resistant but I wrapped with additional plastic due to on my front porch. Room for the heated feeding/water bowls that are also made by K&H. Easy access for cords.

It is okay, but…
On the whole, this is a good product. It provides some shelter for outdoor animals who come to our deck for food. We had three inches of snow, and it held up, although sagging a bit. I am not sure it could take very much more snow without caving in. It will hold one squirrel sitting on top of it, but when there are two squirrels moving on it the shelter tips over. It is lightweight, but the food or water in the heated bowls provide enough weight to keep it from blowing away. It was pretty inexpensive, so I knew it would not be as substantial as a wooden structure. I think this shelter is more suited to a sheltered location that does not get much animal traffic. But for the price, I am keeping it and using it for as long as it lasts.

Holds the Cat Food Bowl
I bought this to put the bowl of dry cat food in to keep it out of the sun and rain. I had to put bricks on each side to keep it from blowing away, so there is only room for one bowl. The water bowl won’t fit in. But still, I think this is great. Very easy to set up. I wish I had bought it years ago.

K &H Outdoor Cat Covered Dining Room
The K&H Outdoor Cat Dining Room Covered Outdoor Feeding Station is very easy to put together but not the right choice for my small winter feeding area. The biggest challenge is that the small, rectangular opening in the center of the back panel doesn’t fit the three-pronged, roundish plug on the K&H dual heated bowl. In addition, it is not heavy enough for the space I have to stand strong winter winds. The K&H dual heated bowl is wonderful, and it fits perfectly in the Covered Outdoor Feeding Station. I found that there is not enough room in it to add even small weights or stones, etc., to the back corners. While it doesn’t work well for me in the winter, I believe it will work very well in my feeding area in the Spring and Summer when I can position it differently in the feeding area I have.

Sturdy, expect it will last a long time. Didn’t move in some strong winds we had recently. It is water proof. Easy to put together. I can fit two medium sized dishes inside. My cats love it.

I have befriended numerous feral cats and while I’ve been able to semi-domesticate a couple others are strictly outdoorsy! That meant freezing water bowls and snow and rained on food! So when I saw this eating enclosure it was a perfect match for the heated bowls I’d purchased. At a good size and with weather resistant material is attractive enough to look natural just outside my kitchen door. It was very easy to put together and while I wouldn’t say you couldn’t sit on it, it is well made and sturdy enough to take on a snow drift!… I’m happy I bought it!…
