The Dragon Breath is Tamed
THANK YOU MINTIES!!Let’s start off by giving the ol’ disclaimer. Nothing -absolutely NOTHING- will work as well as just brushing your dog’s teeth. If you start slow and train them correctly it takes 30 seconds to give your dog’s teeth a good scrub.That being said, it doesn’t work for everyone. I get it. I have 1 highly aggressive elderly dog that can no longer handle me messing with her mouth, a “drools be out his toothpaste in two seconds flat” Labradumb, and my perfect little angel boy who has horns hidden in his halo.I bought these for the “angel”.A two year old Cattle Dog with the breath of an ancient beast spoken only in legends long past. This dog had noxious fumes blasting forth to waylay our enemies long before they knew they were our enemies. Now this is my one dog I can brush his teeth with ease. We brush, and use a dental supplement and when I say his teeth are pearly white I am not kidding. But his breath was horrible. We went to the vet and his vet diagnosed him with “keto breath”. This creature of myth and legend eats so many wandering knights (high protein feed) just to keep weight on that it was affecting his breath. So along with a diet adjustment I started searching for a breath mint. Anything to let me comfortably go back to dwelling in our lair together.Minties does the job! They’re perfect little breath mints to give just before play time. I bought the small ones as a quick breath mint and the chews to add into our nightly dental routine. Thanks to the ingredient list my “allergic to air” Old Lady can even join in the routine again.So while I wouldn’t consider the Minties a complete canine dental routine I do think they’re a wonderful and affordable addition. They certainly work better than some other name brands I’ve tried.

Fresh and natural mint flavor
Absolutely love how these treats have a natural mint flavor that my dog seems to enjoy. The soft and chewy texture makes them easy for all dogs to chew, and I appreciate that they are low calorie. Since I’ve started giving these, I’ve noticed my dog’s breath is fresher and his teeth look cleaner. The 100-count package is convenient and lasts a good while. Overall, a great dental treat that my dog looks forward to.

Great price, improves bad breath, my dog loves them!
Our Husky absolutely loves Minties! Her parents do, too! She gets so excited to have her minty after brushing her teeth. Her bad breath is gone. The Minties have definitely helped her gut biome. Further, she has a tendency to swallow her treats without chewing. The texture of the Minties is harder which requires her to chew them. I recommended them to a friend and she said her dogs breath has improved using them. She used Greenies faithfully and has noticed a significant improvement over Greenies. The price point of Minties is great as well.

Great price, smells nice, harder than greenies but softer than whimzees
So far my little dude likes them. Way more affordable than greenies! He’s had greenies most of his life cuz I like how well those work and he loves them.Unsure how comparable these are yet cuz it’s only been a a day, but he took to them pretty quick. They smell mintier than greenies too (even the fresh flavor ones) which I personally like. I tried whimzees and they gave him bowel issues. These are sort of a midway between the rubbery greenies and the rock hard whimzees. What really got me was the price lol. Hoping no belly upsets, these may be the new go-to. I may update later on. 4 stars only cuz it’s been a day, no telling if it’s gonna go south 🤣 but all seems great so far.

She loves the taste, we both love the smell
Great quality product! My dog (a 60 pound Golden, 8yrs) absolutely adores these! They have an incredibly pleasant, natural mint smell, and do not stain our carpets or rugs. She does make very quick work of them (one lasts her about 1 minute), so they’re more of a “beneficial treat” than a “chew.” And the value, compared to the “famous” brand, is unquestionable.Highly recommend.

A staple in our routine, dog loves them
We’ve been using these for years now, and my dog still loves them just as much as day one. He gets genuinely excited for them, which makes keeping up with dental care a lot easier. I can’t even touch the bag and I can hear him coming to the kitchen lolI do want to be clear that I don’t rely on these alone. I also brush his teeth regularly and remove tartar myself with a metal pick, so this is part of a bigger routine rather than a magic fix. That said, these chews are a great complement. His breath stays fresher and they definitely help with everyday plaque buildup between cleanings.They’re easy for him to chew, don’t upset his stomach, and never get ignored like some dental treats we’ve tried in the past. Because he actually enjoys them, it’s been easy to keep this habit going long term.If you already take your dog’s dental care seriously and want something they’ll actually look forward to, these are a solid choice.

Great find for my pup. These Minties really seem to help clean teeth, and breath is fresher after a few weeks. Easy to serve, not messy, and the small size is perfect. Only tiny nitpick is I wish they were a bit chewier, but still a solid 5 stars.

Gotta say, I really like the size of these treats. They’re just right for my dog, and he absolutely loves them. The natural mint flavor seems to keep his breath fresh, and I notice his teeth look cleaner after using them. The low calorie aspect is a plus too since he’s on a weight management plan. Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.
