At 32 inches, it lets me scoop without bending, squatting, or performing yoga poses I didn’t sign up for. The double spring-loaded jaw clamp is no joke—it snaps shut with the kind of authority that says, “I’ve got this.” Whether it’s a single deposit or a multi-pile situation, the clamp holds firm and doesn’t let go until I say so. Just as advertised
Doesn’t feel cheap. Not too short and I’m 5’11”. It still is plastic and with the amount of use it gets with 3 dogs will likely have a limited life span. Lol. (Not the fault of the manufacturer). But I have had it for two weeks and like it so far. And the price point is spot on.

Best of these that we have found so far
Super handy, love these, however, even handled delicately they don’t last more than a few months for us. The springs break or come out, the plastic cracks. Rinsed after each use, stored out of sunlight. This is the BEST company we have gotten these from, they last the longest. Will order another. BUT. Could one consider making it out of aluminum or something more durable? Would pay more for a single purchase that would last 😀

It does what it does and it does it great
It works great. It puts up, well, you, with no issues. I leave it outside and it has lasted 2 years and still going. I would buy another but this one hasn’t broke yet. So, if it ain’t broke don’t replace it.

Can pick up very large dog “gifts” and it long enough to save your back!
This Scooper is great for picking up all the gifts my dog leaves us in the back yard. The jaws open very wide allowing large piles to be grabbed at once. The pull is smooth- very easy to use. The length is great for reach so you are not constantly bending over- very easy on the back. It is very sturdy and well constructed. The last one I purchased lasted a long time and would have lasted longer if I had kept it protected from the elements.

The first thing I noticed about this scooper was the gauge of the springs – they are heavier than most other brands. The bucket is also heavier than most other brands and closes nicely. I also really like the length of the handle.

Plastic junk
Product lasted one month to the day. One of the arms snapped on the bottom near the claw rendering it useless. Don’t waste your money, there are better options for the price.

Overall Rating got three stars. It’s not great, but it’s not terrible. Too small for my needs, but it was the best and biggest one I could find when I was looking. If you have a small to medium sized dog, it should work just fine provided they send you one manufactured correctly.Sturdiness gets one star. It was manufactured without all the pieces. How sturdy it will be in the long haul without that piece, I don’t really know and will not likely find out. I have since found my preferred scooper brand and size and will likely keep this one as a backup. Check it to make sure that all the washers are in place before using the first time.Easy to Use gets five stars. Set up was a breeze. We gave up the shovel years ago after finding this style of scooper and never looked back.Easy to Clean gets one star. Who wants to stand there hosing the thing off after each use with the water spraying back in your face? I sure don’t! Get yourself two cans in the yard. Line one can with a trash bag for poops and use the other can to hold your scooper so you can pick it up easily and it doesn’t get played with when the dogs are out running around. If you can’t stand the idea of some poop sticking to the scooper, use a plastic bag every time you use it. No clean up needed and I did not use ease of cleaning in considering the overall rating.
