Best puppy, adult and senior dry foods for small breeds!
Have had 3 teacup chihuahuas (not all at the same time..) all 3 love or have loved this food not only the puppy version, but also the adult and then senior versions.High quality dog food that doesn’t upset small tummies! Very small in size do it is easy for these little ones to chew. Not soft, which is great because it is better for their teeth and gums.Some dog foods smell really bad, but this one by Nutro Natural doesn’t.It has to be tasty or the little cutie in the picture would refuse to eat it!Highly recommend, even if it is on the pricey side. Definitely worth the price!

We bought this food because we’ve been having a hard time getting our 14 and a half year old Westie to eat and it said that the senior food is made to be more palatable to older dogs. She is eating it very well even though she has been a finicky eater for the last 2 years. We have even tried the premium people food type diets and canned food and she is eating this better than she was eating those. We have been long time Nutro purchasers with the Lamb and Rice formula but she seems to tolerate this chicken formula just fine even though her stomach tends to be on the sensitive side. I was not able to find the senior formula in the Lamb and Rice except in a 30 lb bag which is way too big for our small dog.

I did my research on this product quite a bit and found mostly positive reviews. Plus the ingredients vs. cost put it at a mid-high price range for quality of food. I got a rescue dog in January and slowly switched him off the rescues food to this. We tried it for 4 months. His poops were so soft I couldn’t even pick them up. He had the runs constantly!! I tried changing his eating habits, slow feeder, elevated feeder, supplements because he’s an adult – attributed it to the stress of a new home. Also – his farts could wake the dead. And he would fart constantly – it was so horrible!Switched him to Diamond Naturals and all of that is gone. The first week his poops got firmer and his putrid farts are gone. I can’t believe I fed this to him for 4 months.I would give ZERO stars if I could. It may work for some dogs – and the ingredients are pretty good – but OMG not for us!!

I have been feeding my dogs the lamb and rice flavor of this brand since they were puppies. We have switched to the senior food as they are getting old now. They have had absolutely no medical issues and they’re 10 and 11 now… Maybe good genetics or maybe the dog food?? I feel like their fur has always been nice and soft and shiny.

My dog has always loved her food. I tried to change to other more expensive brands but she either had trouble digesting them or had allergic reactions. My local petstore has ceased selling this brand so I switched to amazon and always get super fast delivery.

Fast delivery.Dogs had NO bowel runs or issues.Dogs are fussy but LOVED this food.Ingredients ARE what they state.Only downfall…as bit pricey compared to equally competitive dogfood.
