This has been our senior dog’s food for quite some time and she does great on it. I love knowing she’s getting quality nutrients and she clearly enjoys it too. Five stars from us.

This food is apparently so tasty, that my 1 yr old cat tried to sneak over to my old lady dog’s bowl for some. Unfortunately, this dog can EAT, so there’s never any left behind. I’ve given into letting the cat have a few bites with her food.The best thing I’ve noticed is that my sweet old dog has increased energy! She doesn’t just want to walk, she’s running again! Thank you Nutro. You’ve been the go-to brand for her from the beginning, 11 yrs ago. I don’t think she’d still be here without you. She definitely would have such a good quality of life.

Excellent Dog Food!
After having an emergency surgery 11 years ago (2009) to remove bladder stones, Molly was put on Science Diet C/D food to prevent any future bladder stones. For years, she was scrawny no matter how often she ate. We had to make the C/D can food into a sort of soup because she refused to drink water. She was always hungry.About seven years ago, the vet suggested giving her Ammonium Chloride powder (a very low dose – please, please consult your vet before changing anything in your pet’s diet if they have bladder stone issues) a couple of times a day, and then Molly could eat ANYTHING.As of now (September 2020), Molly is 16 years and 10 months old. Ever since switching to a powder preventative and switching to this food years ago, she has (continued) to have so much energy and loves her food. Nutro Ultra Senior helps us feel good about what we are feeding our precious girl so that she can continue to live a long happy, healthy life.P.S. Image is only a week old 😉 She’s doing amazing.

Dog Loves It!! No price for health..
My senior pitbull was malnourished before adopting her. This specific superfood version helped her regain energy, strength, and get out of the malnourished category. She is 12 years old and has just as much energy as a puppy! She loves this food and after reading the ingredients…I was impressed at all the natural things that she needs! Her coat is beautiful! The only downsize with being a senior dog food is I worry about the texture of the food. It seemed to be a little too hard for senior dogs, it comes in triangle shapes with holes in the middle. Other than that, the price is twice as much as I would have expected to pay but definitely worth it for her well being.

Great for senior-aged dogs! Especially those with sensitivities to other dog food brands!
We have a purebred golden retriever and she has previously been on a healthy weight management name-brand food. We noticed that, after eating, she would rub her face all over the carpet and her eyes would water. After doing some research, I found that this food had high ratings for senior-age dogs. We have been using it for the last week or so and our dog no longer has any sort of reaction to the food. She does not itch, scratch, or have watery eyes after every meal! We were so happy to finally find a food that our dog did not react poorly too, and at her age, it is important to us that she has the highest quality of life until the end, as possible. I am very impressed by this food, and the ingredients in it. I would also like to note that, with our dog’s previous food, our pantry would always smell of the food, even after we transferred it to a closed container. This food does NOT leave any sort of lingering smell in our pantry, even if it is just in the open dog food bag. I think this is a testament to the high quality of the food. I would highly recommend, especially for dogs that may have a sensitivity to other dog food brands.

Good dog food
Since he was little my ancient Bichon frize has always eaten the neutral Ultra small breed adult. And he’s always enjoyed perfect health. He is super old so I decided to try the senior. After a few weeks I noticed that the fogginess cataracts look in his eyes cleared up and he has become much more active and chases his little brother around the house more than he used to. This is real good dog food folks don’t be cheap go ahead and spend the extra money your dog will thank you.

When starting nutro , add it in their diet according to mfg instructions as this food is richer and not doing so will upset your pets stomach. But my ole best buddy loves this food!I mean loves it! And he gets around easier also.It’s a win win.
