This is what a proper kitten and cat collar looks like
These OutdoorBengal breakaway collars are on a completely different level than the junk flooding pet stores and Amazon. The moment you take one out of the package, it’s obvious someone actually cared when designing and making these. Solid materials, clean stitching, a breakaway clasp that feels deliberate and trustworthy, not the brittle, toy grade plastic garbage most collars use. This is real craftsmanship.And the colors? Unreal. Flamingo pink, monstera green, saffron orange, they don’t just “look nice,” they punch you in the face with visibility. Bright, bold, and impossible to miss. If your kitten slips outside, ducks into brush, or vanishes into shadows like a tiny furry criminal, these collars make finding them fast and stress free. High vis without looking stupid or cheap is rare, and these absolutely nail it.What really sold me is that they manage to be both beautiful and functional. No gimmicks. No pointless fluff. Just a well built, highly visible collar that does exactly what it’s supposed to do and looks damn good doing it. This is the kind of product you buy once and never bother shopping for again.Now for the only downside, and this one’s on me. By the time I ordered them and they arrived, my kittens had already outgrown them. That one hurt, because these would have been the collars I stuck with. Quality collar, just not for us.
This collar felt well made, had a good clasp,was a brilliant cyan blue color, and had a nice non scratchy material. The only reason it’s 4 stars is because it wasn’t a quick enough release for us but for those who want a bit more security this could easily be 5 stars. In terms of adjustment, it fit our cats fine and the boys are on the bigger side. It also had a nice thickness and didn’t feel too heavy to sit on cats neck. I think this product was worth the price to check out.

Breakaway doesn’t break easily
EDIT: the collar created an open sore on my cats neck where the snap connects and the Dring connects. The collar is fitted correctly, but the product is faulty.The collar looks nice and seems to be made well. Proper fit is important – for my cats – 1 finger fits better. My cats are not used to wearing collars and tried to bite them off. The recommendation of two fingers allows them to get their lower jaw under the collar but then not out of their mouth again. The “breakaway” take a lot of pressure and doesn’t break easily. Ensue my chasing my cat around for 10min with her jaw stuck in the collar, before I could get it off. I guess I was expecting the breakaway to function in this case and it didn’t. Makes me think about what else it could get stuck on and not break…

Unhooks to easily
Color is beautiful; looks great on kitty. However, one of the kitties was able to get it off within a few minutes. Another kitty got it off within a day. It’s really not gonna work out at all.
