I bought this Outward Hound Hedgehogz toy as a welcome‑home gift for my daughter’s newly adopted 75‑lb Lab, and it was the perfect choice. He’s been obsessed from the start—chewing, rolling it around, and proudly carrying it everywhere. The grunts and squeaks keep him entertained, and it’s been so fun to watch. The Large size (12″ x 6″ x 7″) is soft, plush, and durable enough for a big, enthusiastic chewer. A wonderful welcome gift and highly recommended for any dog owner.

certainly not indestructible WHATSOEVER but kept my dogs entertained for an evening!would definitely buy again for supervised play time with the knowledge it will definitely get destroyed.super soft and the squeak is super amusing.

Great for dogs the love noisy toys!
I’m not usually one to review, but this is such a hit with my dog! We have bought the small squirrels that also can be stuffed in a log for years for our dog. He loves them and they hold up fairly well compared to other stuffed toys we’ve bought. We decided to give this one a try and it has been a huge hit! He loves the squeaking and the grunting sounds, but also just throwing it around and pouncing on it. We’ve had it for about a month (which is an record for a toy of this size/type with my dog) and he chewed a hole big enough that we had to pull the squeaker and grunt out, but he is still loving playing with this hedgehog. We will definitely repurchase when this one fully bites the dust.

Hedgie is the best stuffy!
This is my pup’s favorite stuffed animal of them all. Hedgie – as we like to call it – usually lasts us a good 6-7 months before it’s ready to throw out and replace with a new one. My dog loves chewing on this, the nose is always the first thing to go, throwing it around on his own, playing fetch with it, and snuggling with it. The noise and squeaker really keep his attention it’s so cute to watch him play with this toy. It’s fun, it’s bouncy, it’s his favorite. It’s not very durable. To make it last longer, we patch up small holes just by hand sewing, and that works easily enough. If your dog loves stuffed animals, this one will be a hit! Just know you’ll have to replace it at least twice a year, if not more, depending how rough your dog gets with it. But it’s well worth the price and we love it.

Perfect Christmas Gift for Our Playful Pekingese Puppy! She’s Absolutely Obsessed!
I bought the Outward Hound Hedgehogz Plush Dog Toy in small size as a Christmas present for our 9-month-old Pekingese puppy, and it’s definitely her favorite gift this year! The moment she saw the cute little hedgehog with its spiky faux fur and round nose, she knew it was for her, pouncing on it, carrying it everywhere, and squeaking it occasionally. She loves shaking it vigorously and tossing it around the room during zoomie sessions.The light weight and small size is perfect for her little mouth. She can easily grab it, chew gently, and carry it proudly like a trophy. The built-in squeaker is engaging and keeps her entertained, which is a great with a puppy full of energy. The hedgehog appropriate coloring and plush material is soft and cuddly too, so she’ll even flop down and snuggle with it when she finally tires out.After a week plus of daily play, it’s holding up well with no rips or wear. She’s not a destructive chewer, just a typical playful pup. If your dog is more aggressive, you’ll probably want to supervise or choose something tougher, but for small breeds like our Pekingese, this is great.It brought us all extra joy on Christmas morning, and it continues to be her go-to toy. We highly recommend it for making your puppy’s holiday or any day special!

Boston Terrier Proof.
WINNER:: I am absolutely blown away by this indestructible chew toy. At Christmas time I ( of course ) bout more than several gifts for my two Boston Terriers. ” Graci” ” Corky” get two They said. Well these two demon dogs got their gifts and out of the SIX toys ? This one is still alive and well. Corky hold it between His paws and had chewed and pull out the some of the hair ( just some ) it’s one of Hos favorites the other 5 toys are in the trash these dogs demolish everything they get . Plush toy for big dogs
This XL plush hedgehog is the perfect size for our big boy (12” x 8.5” x 9”). He absolutely loves the grunting and squeaking sounds, and the toy is thick, soft, and plush — not flimsy like so many others. It’s surprisingly hard to find large plush toys made for big dogs, but this one is spot on. Great size, fun sounds, and a big hit in our house!

Cute toy for puppies and small dogs
This is a cute toy. Soft and makes sounds that are intriguing to dogs. However, it is definitely not for large dogs that like to chew and supervision is a must. I gave this to my dog and then stupidly left the room for a moment thinking there’s no way he could get it open because it’s very well made. When I returned, he had already ripped the seams along the top and pulled out part of the stuffing to get to the mechanism that was making the sounds! I shoved the stuffing back in and sewed it together as best I could but there was no saving the sound maker. Now he ignores it and it sits forlornly in the toy box. Great for puppies and dogs that aren’t so curious to figure out what is making that sound!

A beautiful dog toy, does everything it say!! Love the grunting noise. But my dog doesn’t play much with toys (not the company’s fault) so i can’t judge on that, thought i might have tempted him!! But no. A very good well made toy, for dogs that love toys. The price is excellent for such a well made toy.

Had bought a smaller one in a big department store for my little puppy and sadly when he decided to grow up and turn into a little rascal this was the first toy to get absolutely destroyed. I came across this bigger one and had to buy it seeing as it was his favourite toy. Please note though that this makes a horrendous noice and that if your dog likes to chew on its toys then the TV will be going to MAX! Great toy though and definitely worth the money.
