Should have gotten the whole kit.
I absolutely love this and so does my cat. It has two openings, the top, and the side. I got the mesh all the way around so he could see from inside it. I started out with a bubble back pack that he grew out of and moved up to this. He’s 13LBS, long haired, and of course the ‘fluff’ makes him look tons bigger than he is. The top is high enough that he can sit easily and the bottom is roomy enough that he can lay down without being squished. The top opens at the handle with a push of the button where you can open it fully or just half of it. It has seat belt loops, which was a big buying reason for me, and of course a clip inside to attach to a collar. (This is also great for dogs too).I do regret not getting the full ensemble, the carrier, and the stroller. I thought the stroller was a bit much, but now I find I would like to take him with us inside places like petsmart or lowes (too many reasons, but mostly an adjustment to new environments) Anyways, I find I can’t order the stroller by itself now, and honestly I don’t need another carrier. I’d say if your cat is cool with strangers and not freaked out in the car or new places, I’d suggest at least thinking about getting the stroller part too.On another note: The vets absolutely love it because they can reach in and not have to fight through a tiny opening, they appreciate the roominess, ease of use, and that they can see him.It was a bit confusing to put the top on, but after reading the directions, and looking at it, it wasn’t so bad, and I don’t intend on taking it apart. I’ve had no issues with the zippers, but I don’t use the side, and just use the top to get him in and out. It’s pretty light, but well constructed, and holds his weight so I don’t see it collapsing any time soon. It did come with an extra piece, a hammock section for the stroller- just an FYI cause I was thinking ‘where does this go?’- and tossed it.

Best carrier I have owned!
I LOVE this carrier! It is so easy to operate with one hand and so easy to get my cats in and out of it. I also love how tall it is for a couple of reasons. It allows my full grown cat to sit up and look out the window while we drive and is also easy to set on the floor and pick up without bending over. It buckles into the car making it a safer travel option and is big enough to carry both of my cats at once in it for vet visits. It feels very sturdy and is the best carrier I have owned and over the years I have tried a few. Highly recommend!

Excellent carrier, fits my dachshund doggie perfectly. It calms him for car rides and keeps him safe. Easy to carry, easy to secure in with the seatbelt. Highly recommend !!

Get this. Daughter leaves her cat with me two days before I move across country – via truck. I’m hauling a catio, U-Haul and all kinds of stuff and a pug. I look like a hillbilly.The front seats are crammed. My pig is looking at me like I’m on crack and the only one comfortable is the damn cat.This thing is huge. It fit a portable litter box, food, and water (yeas I cleaned it out and rotated it).I’m driving to a yowling cat, until the meds kick in for both of us. She tried to get through the treat holes so I double knotted them. Tried to rip the fabric. Nope. It was great. Zippers were strong. I wish there was a securing mechanism though.There are so many openings it’s crazy and very useful. It is light weight and really safe.On a daily drive, I put my pug in there and she loves it. It is secure to the seat and the construction is excellent.A few notes… you will get some weird useless instruction manual for a stroller. It won’t help. Use your head. Attach the cover first at mid-together. There are little pokey T things that match with slits in the cover. Put them in next. It will help stretch the cover more easily when you pop it open.It is tight but that is what you want. It collapses easily when I need it to.Again it is big! Not German shepherd big but big. I also wish there was a cover for the back mechanics for comfort but overall excellent!

Would’ve loved it a little bigger, a few design flaws, but contains my 50lb dog!
Update: zipper broke after 6 months. Very disappointed.Included updates after using it for a couple months, I should have gone with the PetSafe version! The good: it fits my 50 pound dog, but only just barely. We got this because we have a baby on the way and my dog needs to be contained in the car (very reactive to motorcycles). It was easy enough to set up, note there are little prongs that stick out and you think you’ve ripped it until you realize there are holes there to keep it in place. I like the opening for the treats and pets and the fact that it does feel secure being strapped in! Things I would improve: zipper quality. One of the sides does not zip open and I’m afraid if we use it, it will completely rip. Also, the mat on the bottom of the floor is extremely slippery. They should have included a soft cover for it so his bed doesn’t slide around. The bars that hold the crate open are right along the back of the crate, so he can’t lay back against the seat. I also wish this was bigger. It could be taller and a little wider so that bigger dogs could use it without being scrunched up. There is not something larger than this that’s not a full size crate on the market and they are missing out!!! A full crate takes up too much space but one that could be designed for two seats of a car instead of just one would be super helpful, and a little taller would be nice. Ideal dimensions: 32 inches high, 25 inches wide would be great. We will add a bed to make him a little more comfortable but I’m afraid it will take up some of his precious space. I might try to sell this and get something else, as I don’t know if this will work for longer car rides.

After trying a couple of cheaper options I decided to order this dog crate. It’s more expensive but worth the extra money.I have a toy poodle pup who was terrified of other crates. He has settled well into this one.The crate also acts as a car seat with the hood down which gives him the ability to see what’s going on. I have also used it as a bed whilst on an overnight stay in a hotel.

Nice pet carrier a little larger than expected and is a little awkward to plug the seatbelt in if it was a couple of cm shorter in length would be easier (my seats are not small ). My dog is only 1.6 kg so it is more than enough for her. But it’s not easy to carry around it’s quite deep.It does leave plenty of room for a blanket. And if you have a small dog and need this to stay in the car then it would be a good choice.
