Sturdy and Comfortable- great quality!
This backpack is so comfortable to wear and great quality!! The bottom is very sturdy to hold up your cats weight, and the shoulder straps are padded. As your walking it feels secure. The additional side pockets are great for storing a leash, toy, and canned food.The double zipper on each opening is game changer as well. It creates ease of use if your left handed or right handed. These small details makes the difference.It’s very easy to use, and great for traveling short distances. You can probably fit a small litter box inside if you fold out the back section.

Kitty Approved!! (UPDATED x2!!)
I bought this to take my cat for walks/hikes with me. She LOVES it! I left it open and fully expanded on the floor so she would get comfortable with it before taking her outside in the backpack, and she likes to lounge in the expanded part mostly.Durability:The bag is well-made all around. I let my 4 month old kitten play with the bag as rough as she wants to (and she gives it all she has). I wanted to see if she could tear it because I’d rather her do it in the safety of our home than in the woods somewhere. It’s been about a month now, and I haven’t noticed any tears in the mesh or elsewhere.Comfort:Very comfortable to pull over my shoulders and haul around. If you’re going for a long walk, I recommend using the belt around the waist to support your lower back. I must note that, although it doesn’t affect me, I think the waistband is a little short for those with a wide waist.Overall, it has been a VERY positive experience for me and kitty, and I’m so happy I bought it.UPDATE MAR 23, 2021:This has to be one of the best purchases I’ve made for my cat. She loves it. She still lounges in it when I leave it out – with or without the back extension popped out. Most importantly, I’ve haven’t had any issues with the zippers, clips, stitching, or anything – not even the mesh. Honestly, the fact that there are no tears in the mesh really surprises me because when I have it all folded up, I noticed that she claws at it. She’s not declawed, and although I trim her nails, I don’t do it as regular as I should.The only problem I’ve come across, which is why I’m here, is that she has DESTROYED the bottom insert. I take full responsibility for that on behalf of my rambunctious cat. She was often biting and clawing at it, and it has taken its toll. Now I’m looking for another… bottom insert, not cat. I’ve been using the carrier without the bottom insert, which surprisingly still works. She’s about 10-12 lbs/4.5 – 5.5 kgs, and the bottom of the carrier sags just a little, but not significantly. Don’t know how it would hold up if she were heavier though.I still highly recommend this carrier backpack.LAST UPDATE JUL 15,2022Reached out to the company about the bottom insert, and they replaced it no questions asked. The backpack is still my cat’s haven, mesh is still intact, and everything functions without issue. LOVE IT!!

Durable and multifunctional
I originally bought this as a travel backpack, but it has become so much more. We leave it out in the living room, and our cat is obsessed with it. She plays in it constantly—rolling around, clawing the mesh, and biting the sides—and there isn’t a single mark on it. The durability is incredible!Even though we don’t go on hikes, this has become our go-to carrier. Since she already loves napping and playing in it, getting her to the car is stress-free. Honest review from the Fat Cat Club
This Backpack carrier has Pros & ConsLet me start off with saying that the “random” 2 photos are for size reference of my Garfield sized orange baby in front of a 50″ TV and a photo of him & his slightly smaller older brother next to each other. They are 15 and 16 pounds of blubber.This bag was purchased for the orange one specifically for vet trips. And did not disappoint when it came to him having room to be able to move around. They both fit well with room to be able to circle themselves around and about.I love the thickness of the board that stabilizes the structure. The crate as a whole is collapsible and the zippers have hook latches so they don’t separate and open on all 3 entry ways.The backpack wear is comfortable. For reference I am 5’2″ and it was not heavy or uncomfortable to wear. It also has a chest hook to relieve some weight off your back.The Extended back feature is a pop out after you unzipped it. And the structure doesn’t collapse on itself.The 2 cons that I have aren’t actually about the bag itself or its functions.1. The protective film was extremely annoying to peel off. It would shred around the air holes. And even though there seemed to be a “pull here tab”, the tab was not functional at all in removing the film.2. Was that I guess on delivery the plexi glass type material got slightly scuffed and i couldnt see the damage before I removed the film.Overall it is a lovely crate and I am going to keep it.A better design idea would be to maybe make it so the clear cover is easier to be removed

This backpack has it all!
Had this backpack for a couple of months now and have used it at least a dozen times while hiking, camping, biking, and walking. I have 2 chihuahua puppies that equal 7.5 pounds together and they are in the backpack together. The mesh is very strong and the dogs digging at it does nothing. The plastic bubble is great to see the dogs but heats up fast in the sun. The expanding part is great! I use it often and it’s a great puppy play pen (small) for a timeframe if you can’t have them running freely (like in the campground). There are straps to reinforce stability on your back (straps around waist and chest). These straps are great and make it so the backpack doesn’t move at all while hiking and biking. I was not worried a bit. The zipper is strong and the backpack closes up flat to fit in tight areas (in the truck when camping). This backpack is well worth the money and I’m extremely happy with it..

Everything about this backpack seems very well thought out. It is sturdy, the way you can lock the zippers is brilliant, size is good for my kat, it is comfortable to carry on your back and straps leave enough room for my extra kilos.
