My cats love this. They climb to top and just sit there. They use the scratching post daily. Easy to put together. Very sturdy.

Great scratcher for average sized cats
Easy to assemble. Cats love it although the bigger male cat has tipped it over more than once. Could benefit from a heavier bottom. It lasts about a few months before the sisal rope starts coming off and I need to order a new one every 9-10 months with four cats using it, so it’s a pretty good deal. I just wish the sisal rope wouldn’t come off.

Sturdy but my cats don’t love it
This is nice, tall, and sturdy, but for some reason my cats don’t love it. I have a similar post with thicker rope that they use all the time, so I’m not sure what it is about this one except that the rope is kind of prickly and not as soft as the other. I might just try to wrap it with something else.

Holds up well!! Cats favorite
I bought this 3 years ago when my cat was a kitten. It’s obviously worn after 3 years but absolutely worth it for $25. Time for a new one. She loved to climb it when she was tiny and still uses it every day as a full grown cat. It’s the perfect height for her to stretch out. I tried buying her other posts and she won’t touch them. She will only use this one. I’ve bought her 2 more now. About to buy another 2

My cats really like it!
I have a lot of cats and I got this scratching post today, put it together in a few minutes, and set it next to my glider so there was something sturdy behind it. I wanted to make sure it wouldn’t tip as they explored their new post. As soon as I put it on the floor they started gravitating towards it. My Mainecoone cat occupied it for quite a while as the rest hovered waiting for their turn. They didn’t really scratch on it, but they all rubbed against it, curled around the base, layed on the soft furry base and reached towards the toys.It feels very sturdy, the posts are bigger and more solid than another one we use to have, which is a plus, the screws feel tight, and the posts and base don’t wobble…yet. It was very reasonably priced, and, again, my cats are enamored with it.I will submit an edit and more photos later on after my cats have had a chance to use it more. I was just excited that they were even interested in it!Edit: my cats still love it. They scratch on it and play with the suspended balls, the rub and roll on it, they even nap on it. A few of the cats have perched on the top, but it’s just wobbly enough that they don’t stay up there very long. Most won’t attempt it because t tends to wobble. One of them pulled it over in the night because he was pulling it across the floor as he played with it. We are going to follow another reviewers idea of using Gorilla glue in the center fold, and then duck taping it after the glue dries. So far the center post and top bolts seem okay. This has been a great purchase as my cats prefer the scratching post over the corner molding in my house (Which we just replaced). I still give this product 5 stars and ten thumbs up.

Poles are too small on brown and cream colored one. Disappointing
I have ordered this cat scratcher multiple times and it’s always been the solid cream color and the posts have been around for inches round and sturdy. I ordered the brown and cream colored one and it’s super skinny poles about an inch smaller than the other ones. I wouldn’t recommend this color. It’s very disappointing and not as sturdy as the cream colored one.

Great cat scratcher!
This cat pole was easy to put together. I got it because my kittens enjoyed a smaller one that I bought when I first got them. They were beginning to outgrow it, so I bought this one to give them a challenge. It is sturdy and easy to assemble. Compared to others I have seen it was a great value. It took a while for them to really get into playing on it, but they do now and it gives them enough height to stretch out, as well as the movement of the balls to keep them busy.

great quality but came in different colors than the colors shown in the product photos and the ball attached to the base is plastic with tacky feathers and not fur as in the photos.

This is our third scratching post. All three have come from Amazon. This one seems like a good deal for the money. The one that is the highest quality is more than twice the price (Ultimate Scratching Post-Gray, Large 32-Inch). The cats went after the balls as I was putting it together. Sisal rope is not one of those things that lasts forever, but with a variety of scratching posts and scratching toys throughout the house, that is not a dealbreaker.
