What types of food & treats can you use in the Forager Bowl?
We recommend only using dry food, treats, or dryer veggies like carrots in the slow feeder bowl. For extra nutrition, pair with SoftSupps. We recommend Calming, Probiotic, or Multifunctional.
What is the difference between the Meadow Bowl and the Forest Bowl?
Our Meadow Bowls are easy/intermediate difficulty by providing pockets for food to fall into and visual cues for pets to find. Our Forest Bowl is the most challenging because pets must only use their nose to find food.
Should I get the Forager Bowl or Forager Mat?
We recommend having both for different reasons! For an everyday slow feeder or food bowl replacement, we recommend the Forager Mat. For a travel bowl or interactive play, we recommend the Forager Bowl that you can pack and store easily in your home!
How am I supposed to clean the Forager Bowl?
Forager Bowl is completely machine washable. Flip inside out, cinch, and wash with PetTergent. How often depends on how often your furbaby uses Forager, and how messy of an eater they are.

Great mental/sniffing enrichment
I love using this for my small short snouted dog and cats. It really takes time for them to sniff and find every bit of treats or kibble! This is by far one of the best snuffle mats on the Amazon market. I like the texture of this kind of snuffle foraging mat over the other snuffle mats that seem too easy for my dogs and cheaply made. This one gives them work to sniff for each piece of food. This is a lifelong keep for me!

Good if pet isn’t chewy
I bought this for my cat because he eats too fast, and we had tried a silicon lick mat but he was chewing at it and I didn’t want him to eat plastic. However, he has eaten a scary large amount of the little tufts of this.It’s really his problem and not the product, it’s well made and sturdy and washable. I’ll be buying a plastic slow feeder and giving this one to the dog.

Really slowed down eating. I love it.
I love this. My mini aussie is fat, though we gave her what we thought was barely enough. We needed to cut back her food but not have her look for more when she wolfs it down in 20 seconds. This mat really slows her down. I massage the food deep down in it and it took her longer to eat a 1/4 cup of food than it took my sheltie to eat 1/2 cup out of one of those maze type bowls that are also used to slow eating. I just got it and have used it twice, but I really like it. She even missed 1 piece that popped out when I shook it, which surprised me because she’s deaf and her smelling ability is especially strong.The bottom has little non stick dots that help hold it in place. The gray color hides the food well. It is cute to watch her bury her nose in it and sniff around. The fabric you put the food in is super soft, like thick chenille, so she doesn’t hurt her nose digging around. The outside is a thick heavy duty fabric. This bowel is a win.

This is in the top three, if not #1 favorite thing we have ever gotten our dogs! We have two small dogs, and the older one was getting random bursts of boredom/energy every couple hours and didn’t know what to do with it.I got one of these and another in a different style and the dogs LOVE them!! It really helped with those bursts/boredom. This one is more challenging than the other style I got, which is also soft but looks more like a children’s toy.You have to run your fingers through it to bury the food (we use small bite food), but it will keep them busy and engaged for quite a while! These two now prefer their dinner from the snuffle mats instead of the bowl – so I guess I created myself a different issue now haha.Really, I am so happy I got this. Our older dog is so happy using his nose and digging around for food. It’s adorable to watch.Our dogs aren’t destructive or droolers, so hard to say for others, but this mat is holding up great for us. Everyday use since Christmas (7 months) and looks great.

Good food puzzle for some dogs.
I love this feeder. Easy to clean, just throw in the wash. My 75lb dog is very food motivated and loves food puzzles. This has held up well for her but she has pulled some strings i needed to trim. If you have a dog that will ingest fabric i would look for different food puzzles.

Not very durable and gets very smelly but does the core job
Definitely helps my dog slow down feedingHave had two so far and they get so stinky. Have tried washing in various ways and can’t get rid of the smell. Maybe if I washed weekly. Top and bottom part have separated from the dog playing with it a bit and in the wash. I’m sure there is a more basic way to make one of these and save the expense and maybe find a material that is going to smell less

Great value, quality construction and materials. Made by, or sold under the brand; ‘Pet Parents’. Body of the mat is woven polyester that is very durable. You can cinch it up to have an lip to hold the kibble/treats in, or loosen the drawstring and lay it flat. The drawstring has a compartment to tuck the extra rope in for your pets safety. The chenille type field looks very washable and they didn’t cheap out on the number of strands. So far my dogs have loved it.

I’ve had this product since October. My dog loves it! I’ve had to wash it a couple times and now unfortunately it’s starting to fall apart. I’m disappointed in the durability.

This has been great for our fast eating, food obsessed medium sized (40lb) dog. She spends a good 10 minutes ‘digging’ around with her nose to find all the kibble. Smaller the kibble, the better this will work.
