Effective Pet Cleaner That Handles Odors Well—But Works Best with Fresh Stains
This Pet Stain and Odor Eliminator Spray is a solid choice for pet owners dealing with everyday accidents. The enzyme-based formula effectively breaks down pet urine, vomit, and other organic messes, helping not just to mask smells but to neutralize them at the source. The 32-ounce spray bottle is easy to handle and covers a good area with each use, making it great for carpets, rugs, upholstery, and even hard floors.Performance-wise, the spray works best on fresh stains — it quickly lifts them and leaves behind a clean, mild scent that’s not overpowering. It does a good job of preventing pets from re-marking the same spot, which is a huge plus for dog and cat owners alike. For older or deep-set stains, it still improves the smell noticeably, but you may need multiple applications to fully remove discoloration or lingering odor. The formula is pet-safe once dry, which makes it convenient for use in homes with active animals. It doesn’t leave a sticky residue and dries fairly quickly. The only downside is that it’s not as strong as professional-grade cleaners for large or heavily soiled areas, so it’s best for routine maintenance and small accidents rather than deep restoration cleaning.Worth it? Yes. It’s an affordable, effective, and pet-safe cleaner that handles odors and fresh stains well for everyday use.Pros:Enzyme formula neutralizes odors instead of masking themSafe for pets and carpets once dryWorks well on fresh urine and mild stainsPrevents pets from re-marking the same areaLeaves a light, pleasant scentCons:May require multiple treatments for old or deep stainsNot powerful enough for large or heavy accidentsScent fades quickly after cleaning

worked very well on cat urine!
We have the pleasure of 3 cats, who, while mostly well behaved, tend to communicate their dissatisfaction with us, by peeing in random spots, you really don’t want them too. We regularly wash these areas with a wet-vac, and lots of soap, but we need an enzyme cleaner to make sure the smell doesn’t creep back. We’ve found, especially in more humid areas of the house, regardless of how well we clean, there’s always a detectable “funk”. This has helped stop that.Typically we’ll do one or two treatments of an area, once, it’s entirely dried from cleaning (we don’t use it for cleaning, just post-cleaning freshness). I can’t say it’s had a major impact on stopping them peeing in certain areas, but I’ve not noticed any funky smells in the common offending areas now we are using this, so I’m very happy. Also, for fabrics, we found it didn’t damage any fabrics, even the more delicate thin stuff (we have some nice curtains that were saved), it left no urine stains visible, and I saw no damage even after repeated spraying in the same areas. Overall, good value for money, I’d recommend.

Effective, with friendlier ingredients
We have a 6 month old Bernedoodle who is mostly potty trained, but still has accidents. He also pees whenever he gets excited; that has been the toughest part because everything excites him. Even when they’re fully potty trained, they still get sick and have accidents on occasion (like our older dog). I decided to try this and see how it compared to the name brand odor/stain remover that we’ve been using. This definitely appears to have fewer and “friendlier“ ingredients – simpler, plant based, and is more eco-/pet and human friendly. It arrived at the perfect time. Our puppy got into something he shouldn’t and threw up a couple times on the carpet. I took a before and after picture of one of the smaller stains on our area rug. The instructions for both cleaners are very similar, although this one doesn’t have you blot the fresh stain before spraying. The setting time is also longer. They instruct you to wait 30 to 60 minutes after spraying before blotting the stain. This did a decent job when following the directions. I personally find it a bit more effective to take a washcloth with cold water and remove as much as the stain as possible before spraying (just make sure it’s cold water so it doesn’t set the stain). Sometimes I’ll even apply more cold water after I’ve sprayed, then will spray the cleaner again, particularly if it’s a really tough stain. The smell is decent. It’s a little strong, especially if it’s in a small room, so I do like to air it out during the process (open a window and/or turn on a fan). I think there’s a little bit of a trade off here – this seems to be safer and more natural, but does take a bit longer and maybe isn’t quite as effective as others. Don’t get me wrong, it still does a good job, but may take a little more effort. I think I’ll probably keep this on hand for smaller, easier stains and use my regular spray for the tougher ones. The price also seems to be slightly cheaper than some of the name brands. I was hovering around 4.5 stars but am ultimately rounding up. Personally, I would rather have safer ingredients if I’m going to be spraying this around my house, so I’m OK with a little extra effort.

Highly suggest
This enzymatic cleaner is top notch and a great value. It smells nice and does not have an overpowering scent. You do not have to use a large amount to get the job done, and compared to other more expensive name brand products I honestly did not see a big difference in quality between the two so it works well. The scent does last for a while, but I would recommend going over the area a couple times to maintain its longevity in scent.
