Effective and an Excellent Space Saver!!
First Impression Upon Arrival:Came brand new in a fairly flat, square box. Was well packaged, unassembled with Ikea-like picture assembly instructions and a mini hexagon wrench and screwdriver. I wondered how something of the shape and size depicted in the picture could fit in such a small box. When I realized how it had to be assembled, I was skeptical and thought for sure this would be janky and that I would be returning it.What I liked about it:Surprisingly quick to put together compared to what I thought it would take. I love that it fits against the corner of a wall. Takes up half the space and the cats have been using it regularly. I also like how it looks – Natural, neutral, clean lines, no jarring colors or patterns.Overall Thoughts:I really thought I would end up returning this when I realized it came in pieces. The scratch pad was a bit challenging to get on and get taut, but once it was stretched properly and everything secured in place, you would never know it came in pieces. Surprisingly sturdy on its own, but reinforced when against a wall. Very stable and not wobbly. Came with rubber grip pads to put under the bottom pedestal, and also velcro snap stickies to affix the top part to the wall. I have not secured it to the wall and it has moved a little when the cats get rough, but I just readjust it – if it becomes a bother I will use the velcro tabs to stick it to the wall.Update 1/22/26: At 10 months old, the kittens use it daily and I wanted them to be able to scratch without it pulling away from and banging against the wall constantly. So, after over a month of it being free standing in my test spot which is a high traffic area, I finally secured it to the wall with the Velcro that was included in the package. I wanted to make sure it wasn’t going to cause stubbed toes and I was also not enjoying hearing it lightly banging against the wall when being used.What Could Be Improved:After observing the cats use this corner scratcher for a little over a month, the one thing I think would make it even better is if it was taller, so that the cats can fully stretch vertically. It’s not a huge thing – i do appreciate the minimalistic profile overall. But for the cats, a taller scratch post would be more ideal.

Well designed
Easy to put together, but requires strong screw turning. Solid construction once assembled, one less star because it would be better heavier. I may weigh it down on my own, but when the cat is standing on it, it helps keep it in place. It can be adhered with Velcro to the wall, but I’m using it against a round edge couch. I’m surprised how well the Sisal mat attaches to the unit using adhesive velcro, but they used very tacky adhesive that seems to be working quite well. Rubber feet work well grabbing the floor. Chewie kept scratching the same spot on the couch, I put this where he’s been clawing, hopefully this protects the couch. Chewie is all weapons, teeth and claws!!

Works but poor quality
It’s very cheaply made. The wood doesn’t feel treated. Feels raw(which im allergic to and had a minor skin reaction to). The holes barely line up and screwing the pieces together was more difficult than it should’ve been. The long wood pieces don’t fully align either not to mention the scratcher part that wraps around the post is too long length wise, making it wrinkle and bend, and it barely reaches around to the velcro width wise. The command strips it came with though do hold strongly. My cats do use it and the command strips hold it in place. Just glad I got this on sale but even the sale price feels a bit high for the cheap quality. It works but the price is high for poor quality.

Screws do not fit
Well, the screws do not fit in the poles. Now I have to go search for screws that is the same length but skinnier! My cat was sitting patiently waiting for me to put his new scratcher together😩

Tolles Kratzbrett, gutes Material, nach Anleitung zusammen zu bauen, gute Bilder dazu, alles eindeutig, dauert wenige Minuten.. Kreuzschraubendreher liegt bei, auch Schrube und Stopfen als Ersatz dabei. Kann z.B. mit Klebeklett an der Wand befestigt werden, die Klettstreifen sind dabei. Bisher von den Kätzchen nur wenig genutzt, der Kratzbaum ist momentan interessanter, aber wenn benutzt, dann stabil. Steht bei uns auf Teppich, ohne Befestigung an der Wand, rutscht nicht weg, kippt nicht. Kaufempfehlung.

雄猫が３ニャン居ます。今まではダンボールの爪研ぎだったので、カスが部屋中に散らかって掃除が大変でしたがこれに変えたら掃除の手間が減りました。見た目も小綺麗なのも良いです。肝心の猫たちも気に入ってます。

Produit conforme. Il semble qu’on puisse facilement changer la partie en sisal lorsque les chat l’auront detruit. C’est bien pensé avec une attache sans trou pour que le griffoir soit stable.
