Great size, easy to use. I love all the pockets and areas I can stuff things in when I’m out and about with my dog. The hinges to keep the main pocket open or closed are amazing – it works flawlessly. I’ve use the snot out of this thing for a few months now before reviewing so I could be honest about it’s performance. It holds a ton of treats. Really, a ton. My hands have been compared to gorilla hands, and I don’t have issues with them not fitting in this pouch. No bumping, no scratching, nothing. I’ve not had issues with treats getting stuck down in the bottom, but I keep mine in ziplock bags – it’s easier to swap out for the different treats I use for different dogs, and trust me you do NOT want dehydrated salmon crumbs sitting in this thing for a long amount of time – especially if you happen to leave it in your car during lunch break when it’s 100 degrees in the shade. It’s not pleasant, trust me. Ziplocks are your friend 🙂 I’ve used a lot of other tpyes of pouches, and I really like this one best. The elastic lops on the front are great for holding things, but I use mine to hang things off. I have a potty bag holder, a silicone water bowl and a clicker hanging on mine currently. The front pocket that velcros shut is what I call my “training purse” area. I keep my drivers license, credit card and cell phone in it and when I’m out training public access I don’t have to worry about carrying a full sized purse along with me. Convenience is key 🙂

Perfect with a few tweaks; 16 months later-still satisfied
I bought the mini pouch about 7 months ago and have used it 2-5 x/day for training a young Rottie. Have had no issues with the quality/function of the spring hinge. It’s the perfect size for puppy or beginning adult dog training when sessions are short, and you don’t need to carry a lot of treats. I did have to tweak it a bit though.First, if you’re doing leash training, you’ll typically have the bulk of the lead in your right hand with left hand free to reward behavior. Because the hinge is so strong, there’s no way to open the pouch with 1 hand if the pouch accidentally snaps shut during a session (and it will). I resolved this by placing a small, thick, strong magnet on the corner hinge inside so it can’t close so tightly. Now there’s enough of a gap so I can slide a couple fingers from 1 hand in to open it back up.Second, inside the pouch there’s a center flap that makes a nice divider between the routine rewards like kibble and the high value treats like chicken or hot dog slices for when your dog does something really special. But, because the flap has a Velcro strip on it which grabs on to one side of the inner pouch, it automatically seals one side of treats open and the other side closed. Again, it’s impossible to open the flap quickly to get to a different value treat using only 1 free hand. I resolved this issue by taking a small, 1 sided piece of Velcro and attaching it to the flap’s Velcro tab. Now it can’t grab the side of the inner pouch and seal itself. I can flip the center divider back and forth with a finger, at will, depending on which value treat I want to offer.I just bought the standard sized pouch because my 110 lb. Rottie, while still young, is ready for longer training sessions; I need to carry more treats than would fit in the mini pouch. My only complaint with this new standard pouch is that the center divider flap only comes halfway up which makes no sense to me. If you fill each side with different value treats, the flap is too low to keep them separated from each other. I’ll need to figure out a tweak for this.Both pouches are washable, but I handwash and hang to dry quickly to keep the hinge from rusting. You could just dump kibble on one side and a handful of perishable treats on the other and it won’t leak, but then you’ll have to store the pouch in the fridge to prevent bacterial growth between sessions. I use a snack bag in the mini and a sandwich sized bag in the standard for messy treats. At the end of each session I pull the bag, seal it, and throw it in the freezer until next time. Cuts down on washing.Both pouches come with a really well-made belt and clip. I haven’t used the clip, but the belt is so smooth that with your free hand, you can easily slide the pouch from your left hip to your center back. In this position, even with the pouch propped open, I’ve never had anything fall out if I needed to bend down to tie a shoe lace, point out a treat that fell to the ground, or sit down to take a break.Neither pouch is suited for carrying with you your phone, keys, poop bags etc. There’s just enough room for treats. I dug out an old fanny pack retired years ago due to vanity issues and cut the belt off. I attached small portions of the belt to make loops on the back of the fanny pack and slid it onto the generous belt that comes with the pouches. Voila! Now, if we’re doing trails, I can carry supplies on my right hip and treats in a pouch on my left (and it doesn’t present as a fanny pouch anymore!). If we’re not doing trails, it slides off until needed again.I highly recommend either/both pouches. The tweaks didn’t take much time. I doubt there’s a pouch out there that will be perfect in every way. These pouches come close. Today is 11/11/21. FYI, I bought this treat pouch back in July 2020. Have been training with it every day, a minimum 1x/day since then and the hinge is still going strong.

Nice quality at the price, the product is as advertised and handy for a dog owner to have.

The opening hinges of the item is really stiff and it makes it tough and not so pleasant to use this product..Update: after 4 months of usage, the hinges are now too loose and the pouch isn’t able to stay open 😭😭😭
