My vet recommended Rescue Concentrate when I asked what they use to disinfect exam rooms. Been using it ever since.Bleach water (8–10%) works too and costs less, but it’s rough on some surfaces, smells bad, and takes longer to dry. Rescue smells kind of like hydrogen peroxide, but it evaporates quickly — faster than water, though not as fast as isopropyl.I spray it everywhere: floors, cabinets, doors, rugs, even my leather couch. Tested it first on old rugs, and it didn’t stain or fade anything.I’ve got chickens and sometimes board dogs. Works great around the coop and patio (when they’re out), and it actually helps with odors. It’s not Febreze, but outdoors it kills that dog and chicken smell way better than expected.It’s my go‑to cleaner for daily use. If an animal gets sick or a new dog visits, I break out Virkon S — more heavy‑duty, but also harsher. For everything else, Rescue Concentrate is safe, simple, and solid for everyday cleaning.

Rescue is a great product for any pet owner. It kills and disinfects and is what I use in my home and cattery. It has a clean smell and is what is used in veterinary clinics. It’s a great value for the money, you just mix a small amount with water so it lasts a very long time.

Absolutely, hands down the best pet urine smell removing, stain remover, and disinfectant ive ever used in my animal owning life. This stuff is great and works almost instantly. I was legit in shock the first time I used it. Its a little pricier than the regular pet urine products at the store, but my gosh try this stuff out before you keep using anything else! Its amazing and your house will smell like you don’t even have animals! Just read the directions really good before you go spraying it everywhere. Keep food and water bowls away while spraying!

So glad I bought this……so much better than the stuff I was using. No more burning up my lungs or worries about paw contact etc. Buy it people… plus the kennel or whatever will smell like a clean hospital lol

Seems strong enough to attack bacteria
Seems to work. My dog hasn’t dog hasn’t gotten sick (visiting dog had kennel cough). Does have smell, I wore a mask as a precaution. My only suggestion is to include a sprayer for the bottle. Luckily I had a clean, empty bottle that the sprayer fit the Rescue.

I use this in my home, having used it at work for years. I use the 1:64 or 1:32 dilution, and it works as good as bleach with no toxicity and noxious smell.

Rescue is a Wonderful Cleaner
This disinfectant has been a lifesaver for me as I have a large, multi-cat household and don’t want to use bleach secondary to allergies. The Rescue disinfectant is very easy to use, just make sure the area you use it on is completely dry before you let your animals back in the area. The cleaning properties are excellent, and I believe have helped to keep my cats healthy. I don’t use a lot, and I mix a small amount in water to clean. I have not hesitated to purchase this product multiple times!
