Kitty crack?!
Update: The first jar I got was a brown powder, smelled meaty, and the cats went nuts for it. The second jar was a much lighter brown with less scent, and now the 3rd jar I received is pure white with no scent. It is no longer kitty crack.. which is fine, it just gets mixed into food anyway and it still works very well for keeping my cat’s poops solid. However I used to sometimes sprinkle a little on the food of cats who don’t have digestive issues, just to make the food more appetizing, and I can no longer use it for that.—————————I got this like 5 minutes ago, so I can’t comment on how well it works, but as soon as I opened the jar the cat ran from across the room to hunt down the apparently tantalizing scent, and when I showed it to him he shoved his entire face into the jar and ate as much powder as he could before I pulled it away.He’s still just sitting right next to me, staring at me then at the jar, licking his lips and purring.. what is in this stuff?!Update: This works very well, ordering another jar!My cat has the lovely combo of extremely long fur (especially on her tail and hind legs) and extremely soft (even liquidity at times) poops. And turns out she’s not one of those bath loving cats.Cut to montage of me attempting to wipe a screaming cats butt, cutting dried poop fur off a screaming cat, bathing a screaming cat.. you get the idea.So yeah this stuff is amazing! I put a pinch in her wet food at night (more if she’s stressed) and she has consistently firm poops! I can even sprinkle a bit on her kibble and toss to coat if she needs extra. She likes the taste and will still just eat the straight powder (all the cats will, although it’s not good to give without food because of the enzymes).The enzymes will break down starch-based gravies in wet food when mixed in. I don’t feed her much gravy type food and I add in so much extra water anyway that it doesn’t really make much of a difference, but if your cat is a big gravy fanatic that might be an issue!But overall, I love it, my cat loves it, it’s a keeper!

Works very well for our senior cats
We’re very happy with this product. A few of the probiotics we’ve tried were very gritty. Our cats almost immediately detected it was in their food and stopped eating. This product is a finer mix that our cats do not notice and hasn’t interfered with them finishing their meals. We’ll buy again.

It has been partially effective but still testing.
I bought this for two new rescues (aged 2 and 3). I had two others who passed naturally (15 and 17) and felt it was time. Never experienced what I’m experiencing with these new guys.They have had chronic diarrhea since they arrived 6 weeks ago. I’ve taken both to the vet and they didn’t find anything. No fever, no vomiting, and otherwise active kitties. (Very playful) The stool is runny for both, was bloody for one at one point, they would fart a lot, and both stool smelled of carrion. The only time I’ve smelled this kind of odor was when I worked in a museum with a lab that would use beetles to prepare carcasses for study. (Only leaving the bones)We put them both on an Rx diet, antibiotics, and a Panacur dewormer. Nothing helped. I briefly (for 2 days) got hard stool from one of them. Not sure which one though. Then back to watery stool. After the round of antibiotics and Panacur, I figured I would add this to their diet. Tried it on both, then one, then swapped to the other. I have had it for ~10 days now.They both love this stuff and I have to hide the container. Unfortunately, It did not help with the watery stool and feels like it came back after I added it. One kitty has a more normal cat poo odor now while the other guy has a beefy broth odor. Thankfully, the death odor is gone from both. Neither have gas and bloating anymore either.I am giving it 4 out of 5 but that can change once vet and I figure out what is going on. For now, I’d say it’s worth a try. Would like to hear about others experiences. Especially with odor. (Trust me, it’s not like I go around savoring the aroma of cat poo. When you clean 2 boxes 3x a day, you have no choice but to notice the odor because it stinks up the entire house)
