Insect repellent/killer for pets
This insect/parasite repellent was a life saver!!! It’s didn’t just save my puppy from getting eaten alive. We live in a super humid area which mosquitoes seem to love plus, we have a creek the almost goes all the way around the house so yeah, they’re terrible. Then theres those demons w/wings (horseflies) and Lord knows what else. I guess b/c puppy and I are so so sweet, they swarm us. As you may or may not know, some of these evil critters can carry disease, some of which can be deadly to pets. I had just bought myself a new bottle of spray, got a different kind on the recommendation of an employee. Well, she should be fired, I may as well have been using sugar water. My weirdo puppy that I can’t keep out of the water be it the pool, ocean, creek, water hose, shower or a puddle, he loves it but, as much as he loves the shower (unless you get the shampoo out) or running through the water hose….he hates to be sprayed with anything else. So I had to spray it on my hands and just wipe him down. Then I thought “well now that theyre leaving him alone, I’m getting twice as many”, i could have and pretty much did bathe in my spray but, was completely disrespected by all the blood suckers. So I figured if its safe for pets, it must be safe for me. We didn’t get a single bite after application. You do have to reapply every so often of course well, we did because we’re in and out of the water so much. This spray is pretty much several types of concentrated oil, cedarwood and soybean oil. Now my puppy is black so, it just made his coat even shinier but, if you have a lighter color dog it could possibly make them dingy or greasy looking but, they won’t be getting eaten up.I grew up in a cedar sided house, my step-dad was a carpenter whose favorite wood was cedar so, I love the smell of cedar. That said, the smell of cedar in this spray is so strong, it actually choked me up quite a bit. The other adverse effect, if you allow your dog on the furniture and in the bed and, let’s be real, if you don’t you have no business having a dog. Anyway, whatever they lay/sit on is going to smell like cedar for a couple of days. Those are my only complaints but, I’ll deal with those in order for us to not be anemic

Highly recommend
I’ve been using the Sunday Pet Protect spray on my dog for a few weeks now, and I’m really impressed! We live in an area with a lot of ticks and mosquitoes, and I’ve noticed a significant reduction in how many bugs I find on him after our walks. I love that it’s a natural formula, so I don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals. It has a mild, pleasant scent and doesn’t irritate his skin. Definitely recommend for anyone looking for an effective and natural bug deterrent for their furry friend!

It Worked
I was a little cautious about using because she wasn’t supposed to put it her mouth. I used it but I noticed that she was licking so I stopped.

helps my pups
I’m liking this spray for my puppies. They seem to be doing well with it. You can spray it straight on the pups and their bedding.

Good For Kittens
This actually works very well! I had a litter of kittens I discovered out in a shed on my property that were covered in fleas. I decided to bathe them and used this on them afterwards while the fur was still wet and they haven’t had a problem at all since. Then I used it for the other cats and it had worked great. I find it works best directly after bathing before they dry off though. Otherwise it makes their fur look greasy. Just figured that would be worth mentioning. It also has a great scent. It’s really good stuff and I would recommend it and will be buying it again myself!

Does not stop black flies
I packed this spray to use on my dog during a recent trip to the Adirondacks. Unfortunately this did absolutely nothing to thwart the ever present advance of black flies. It smells strongly of cedar and goes on with a thick spray. My dogs coat felt a bit greasy/oily after I sprayed him down. It does smell really good. My dogs coat felt didn’t have any ticks attach but that may be because we didn’t encounter any..it’s possible the spray helped with ticks too. If you’re just out in your yard and want a little something to help keep a couple bugs away, this may work.. I do not recommend this for deep woods, trail hiking, or camping.
