Worth it if your dog ever gets ticks
This thing works like a charm. Our dog is a squirmer and hates having us use tweezers to take off a tick. This thing is so much easier than tweezers. We got the tick off first try. It’s metal so it should last pretty well for what you want. Does it’s job no mess, no fuss.

Tweezers are pointy, which I didn’t find very useful
The little fork is handy to stand the tick up, but to pull it out tweezers with a flat tip actually work better than the pointed one that comes with this set. Still a nice set in a handy box.

Die schräge Pinzette ist super, der Haken eigentlich auch, aber meist sind die Zecken noch zu klein für den Haken wenn ich sie entdecke. Mit einfacheren (Kunststoff) Werkzeugen gab es manchmal gequetsche, mit diesem Edelstahlwerkzeug klappt es in der Regel problemlos die blöden Dinger zu entfernen.

With over 35 years of removing Ticks from horses, dogs and humans this is undoubtedly the best Tick removal kit that I have used. I have now been using the kit for about a year. Well designed and with the working end of the tools at a good angle for getting hold of Ticks, removal is about as easy as you can get. The tools are strong, good quality and easily cleaned. The metal box that they come in is more than robust enough to be carried around in a pocket or in a vehicle and a good size. Respite what some reviewers have said, I have found the tools excellent for removing Ticks of all sizes including the very small ones. Instructions are provided, although in fairly small print, but common sense is enough to use the tools successfully.Excellent value for money.I’m always slightly suspicious about glowing reviews of products but this kit more than justifies all the praise that that it gets from the majority of users.
