Great product! Indispensable tool for tick removal.
The tiny points of the tweezers in this set, similar to jeweler’s tweezers, are simply the best tool I’ve found for removing all sorts of ticks. We spend a lot of time outside in the summer and live in a state where RMSF is common, so having tools on hand for tick removal is important. These fit the bill!The other tool in this set may be useful, but I’ve never needed to try it because I always reach for the tweezers first (and they always work).

Super easy tick removal
Prior to buying this tweezer set I had only ever used brow tweezers to remove ticks. I tried these hoping they would be more effective and they certainly are! It’s completely different. The ticks come off my cat easily and the heads never stay behind. This year the ticks have been getting her despite using Frontline so I’ve had to use the tweezers a few times. It is also less stressful for her because removal goes so quickly now.

Great tool to remove ticks
I stay in a heavily wooded area that has lots of ticks and this tool makes it easy for me to safely remove them off of my Belgian Malinois that has a thick coat. I recommend you giving your dog a good inspection by going against there natural coat with your fingers then when you find the tick use the tool to remove them. Start at the point of contact of the tick bite and slide the tool against your dog or cats coat and safely remove them.

You have your choice of tools for tick removal on people or pets. The tools are not large, so easily stored. If you have a tick on your or your dog, you’ve got just what you need to get it off you fairly easily.

The tweezers are dull – the tips aren’t fine enough to remove a tick. The lifter was also too blunt and thick. I used a Grinder attachement on a Dremel tool to improve the tweezers and lifter tool, they are much better now. Otherwise I would have regretted & returned this purchase.
