Good buy for home grooming
I bought this grinder because my dog hates nail clippers, and this made things much easier. It’s pretty quiet, so it doesn’t scare him as much. I like that you can grind the nails slowly and with more control, which feels safer.I’m not experienced at all and it was still easy to use the first time. It’s lightweight, comfortable to hold, and the battery lasts for several uses. The nails come out smooth with no sharp edges. It’s not perfect, but it does what it’s supposed to do and it’s worth the price. I would buy it again.

made nail trimming way less stressful
Last Sunday evening I was sitting on the floor with my dog, trying to figure out how I was going to deal with his nails. He is a medium sized mixed breed who really does not love clippers. Every time I pull them out, he pulls his paw away and looks at me like I have betrayed him. I decided to try this electric nail grinder instead, hoping it would make the whole process calmer for both of us. The grinder came already partially charged, which was nice because I could test it right away. It feels comfortable in my hand and not too heavy. When I turned it on, I was honestly surprised by how quiet it was. The low vibration is noticeable but not harsh, and my dog did not jump or panic like he usually does with loud grooming tools. The two LED lights are actually very helpful. I did not think I would care about that feature, but being able to clearly see the nail and where I was grinding made me feel much more confident, especially on his darker nails.I started on the lower speed to let him get used to it. He sniffed it, looked curious, and then just sat there while I worked on one paw at a time. It took a little patience, but I was able to shape and smooth his nails without any yelping or sudden pulling away. The grinder did not heat up the nails, and there was no burning smell, After a few paws, I switched to the higher speed for the thicker nails and it handled them easily. The battery lasted through the whole session and still had charge left. Cleaning it afterward was simple, and I like that it stores easily in a drawer without taking much space. The only small downside is that the dust from grinding can get a little messy, so I usually put a towel under his paws now.Overall, trimming his nails no longer feels like a battle. It has become a calm little routine, and his paws look neat and smooth without stressing either of us out.

EXCELLENT grinder. Compact, very quiet, and fast.
As someone who is with a dog rescue and has fostered many dogs and used many different kinds of nail grinders, I have to say I absolutely love this one. This is by far the most compact and quietest one I have used by far. This has 2 different speeds and at top speed it really goes. Up to now, I have only ever used the standard sandpaper attachments for nail grinding, but have been interested in trying these diamond attachments since I have read that they generate less heat and are more comfortable for the dog. This is absolutely true and I wish I had tried them sooner. I grinded 2 dog’s full set (4 paws) of nails with this straight out of the box and it still didn’t slow down. The attachment is fast and effective and grinds the nails effortlessly. This set is an awesome deal as it comes with an extra bit attachment and sleeve. The two lights at the tip of the grinder shine straight onto the dog’s nail as you grind, and I was actually able to see through my dog’s nails to where the quick was. I cannot stress any more how awesome this grinder is. 100% recommend.
