Crazy loud, very well manufactured.
These are great. Super loud. Really well/strongly made and durable. They function great. They’re also small and can be used as zipper pulls or integrated into camping/tactical equipment. They weigh almost nothing, and are super easy to blow. Can be used as an emergency whistle or training whistle.

Very loud whistle!
Whistle is super loud! Made my ears ring for a couple of minutes after I blew it! I attached it to the front of my hiking vest! Great for safety while in the woods or wherever! Super light and comes with strings so you can attach them to just about anything! Definitely recommend!

Simple whistle.
A simple whistle a d lovely little lanyard. I use it to call the dog. It is not a dog whistle but she responds to it.

Smaller than appears, too small
Wait for the “but”. The Whistle works fine. Loud enough. Good tone. I like the lanyard that comes with it. It’s lightweight…but the exhalation valve (the hole that makes the sound) is too close to the end you blow through. This causes one to easily cover the exhalation valve when trying to blow the whistle, which causes no sound. Your lips literally have to be on the tip of the whistle to make it work properly. If you just casually place the whistle to your mouth it is easy to cover the exhalation hole.

Small and loud. Bought for my 81-year-old husband who works in the yard with ladders and chain saws. He supposed to alert me if he needs immediate help when I’m inside and he’s outside. The trick is getting him to wear it.

Not a serious whistle & hazardous besides!
This is definitely NOT a 120 Decibel whistle! Also, it is so small and the blow hole so close to one end that it has to be carefully positioned in your lips before it works. This makes quick use in an urgent situation impossible. Worse, I almost swallowed it once, so it’s a choking hazard even for adults, not to mention babies and children.Unlike other ball-less whistles I’ve owned, it cannot be held between the teeth or lips and blown without using a hand. That’s vital for me riding a bicycle in heavy traffic full of walkers, bikes, scooters, cars.To top it off, the so-called lanyards are nothing but two very short lengths of very thin cord that scratches exposed skin and makes accessing the hanging whistle needlessly difficult. They’re little better than twine, and lack any hardware to facilitate their use with the two whistles.I tried to take advantage of the provided two whistles and cords to create a better, safer whistle. I bound together the two whistles with electrical tape to create an uneven pan-pipe array. I tied the two cords together in a way that allowed easier access to the handing whistle array. This made them easier to access and safer to put in my mouth. I still needed a hand to make any sort of sound, and even two whistles blowing in unison failed to create a proper noise people would pay attention to on typical urban traffic conditions.An utter failure like this isn’t worth a dollar, much less USD $10. The Noopel survival whistle (X001MS3ZLV) 2-piece set with proper lanyards currently sells for less than this product on Amazon, and easily meets all my needs without being hazardous to your health.Zero stars awarded if I could.

Thought they would be stronger and louder. Wondered if they were more like a dog whistle or for music class. They are cute and aesthtic but not super functional given wanted to use for recess duty at a school.
