It’s a pooper scooper and it scoops poop!
I had a previous scooper that I used for several years that worked well. One very cold winter day, I broke it while banging it on the rim of the trash can trying to shake off some stuck poop. I will take full responsibility for that as I should have known better.Seeing as I was happy with that scooper, I ordered another similar one this time instead of 24″ length, I opted for the 32″ to make it easier on the back while using it. Although under a different name, it was identical in design to my previous one. I think the majority of these are made by the same manufacturer anyway and just sold under different names. This one seems to be as sturdy and works just the same. It folds for easy storage, but I just hang mine from a hook. The jaws spread wide enough to grab a large amount at once (perfect for our small dog’s biggest jobs) although perhaps not for very large dogs. Like all scoopers of this type, they work better in shorter grass as the jaws will tend to pull out clumps if the grass is too tall. These scoopers are designed to be used with most dog waste bags, but I use it around the yard as is and deposit the waste into a small bin that I empty weekly. You just need to hose it off once in a while.This scooper is designed well and if cared for properly should function for many years. The 32″ model saves from unnecessary bending but the 24″ works just as well.

Functional & Economical
The scooper is super easy to fold and lock in place to the full length. The instructions are well-written. My only reason for not giving it 5 starts is that while I didn’t realize it came with a roll of bags, the bags are actually pretty cheap and tear very easily, unlike the refill dog bags I have on his leash to pick up after him while on walks.

Great scooper
Your wrists will thank you. Better ergonomic than the rake and pale scoopers. One downside is it wants to take some grass with it. Could be a little longer, like 40″ or 48″ with a vertical handle instead of a horizontal one for ergonomics.
