10 year dog owner , by far the absolute best backseat cover I’ve ever owned.The fact that it folds up on itself and can stay in the car without being in the way is a first. I’ve never found one like this before.It’s also my first time owning a hard-bottom backseat cover and let me tell you- my dogs love it. I did purchase separately a non-slip bed/pad to go on it that is made for this reason because when they say hard, they mean hard. We go on long road trips at least twice a month so them being comfortable is necessary.It protects the sides of the car very well and I love that the side straps to hold it up against the doors can completely be removed for washing.

Strong and sturdy
This works great. It is strong and stable enough to hold my full grown lab. The side handles for the grab bars in the back are a little unstable. I left those down and tucked the sides under my folding seat. My only complaint is the material is slick. When my dog jumps in, she slides on the cover. But it is really easy to clean the dog hair as it won’t get stuck in the material. It also came with a pet seat belt and the velcro is very strong and covered by the material so it also won’t get hair caught in it.

I really enjoy the dog backseat cover up. It’s easy to clean and it allows my dog to have comfort without falling in between the seats. I gave this a three rating because of the seatbelt. I have tried it multiple times with all three different belt buckles and I pull to ensure it’s secure, however, by the end of the car ride or during it unbuckles.
