It works !
Really nice bowl. I like the heaviness of it and the thick shiny glaze on it. Most importantly, it slows down the eating time- which was so fast that one of our dogs would throw up after inhaling her food. This bowl solved that problem. We already ordered a second bowl for our other dog.I wish there were better color choices, but I do love the bowl

Amazing and beautiful ceramic feeder! I have tried several slow feeders for my pup. He is a very fast eater even with a slow feeder. I have never felt like I get the plastic and silicone bowls clean. Not only does this bowl look like a piece of pottery, it is so easy to wash and I know its clean. Because of the alternating design, he has to work a little harder and he actually takes more time! If feeding dry kibble, I recommend adding a little water and let it sit a few minutes. The size and weight are perfect for my 25 pound dog, although it could hold much more food for a larger dog. I am super happy with my new purchase!! And the price was better than others I had found! I highy recommend!! Thank you Vancasso!

Using this for my younger Siberian Forest cat (Pippin). He hoovers his food and brings it back up 20 mins later. The regular circle ridge and wavy asterisk shaped cat slow feeders do not work for him. This dish does! He has to work to get the food and takes twice as long to eat.Pros:- Heavy, well made (prevents tipping)- small wavy divided areas slow cat- easier to clean than most; no tiny areas for food to get stuckCons- takes some time to spread food- ridges slow cleaning (but MUCH easier than most)- pushy pets could slide it

A winner for meal time
This has really helped slow down my frenchie when he’s eating. Meal time has extended from 2min to at least 10min. Because he’s eating slower his digestion is much better!The ceramic looks nice especially when compared to plastic or metal slow feeders. Comes with non-slip dots for the bottom of the bowl which keeps it from sliding around. A little bit annoying to clean due the ridges but worth it for the benefits for my dog.

Only 4 stars for the wrong color but great quality.
Only 4 stars because I ordered the blue but got pink but it’s fine my puppy doesn’t know the difference. Great quality and works great for my 3 pound puppy. Makes him work for his food and slows him down just enough. The weight is good heavy so he can’t easily flip it over.
